After a ONE-GAME homestand, and 5 games in 7 nights, the Clippers get 2 precious days off before hitting the road again for a gimme up in Portland.

With the Pelicans winning tonight this team better feel some.damn urgency for once

Clippers are forced to win this one. Lose, and they will automatically be locked into the qualifier. They will not miss the playoffs, but they will have to earn their spot back the hard way by defeating other qualifiers to secure at least an 8th seed. Would be shocked if Clippers drew Warriors in one of their qualifier matches, meaning a third meeting vs. their former savior Chris Paul. And you know the ol' saying: three strikes yer out.

This team loves playing down to the competition and show a lack of respect to end of bench players. I wouldn’t count this as a win just yet.



Well then.

Should be a very competitive game.

Coffey starts for Mann

he's earned this shot, working his way up from a two-way into the rotation
Mann has not grown in the role, in fact he's been sinking in plus/minus which is a role-player's claim to fame

and Coffey is 6'7", a genuine 3-4

Mann is a tweener at 6'5" who hesitates to shoot at shooting guard
PG becomes the shooting guard--at 6'8" a mismatch in any matchup
we're much bigger now

Thankful we’re only down 1 at the end of the first. Impressive.

Can't stay ahead of a team with literally no name players. I hope we can pull away when it matters.

Up 10 at half. Normally wouldn’t be reason to celebrate but with this team it kinda is.

Well the most encouraging thing in the first half was Harden and Zu, who have been mediocre at best in recent games.

We’ve talked about it a lot but I’m seriously alarmed by Leonard’s lack of whistle.

He gets about as many calls as a 10-day player, it's outrageous. Giannis get 10 times as many calls by simply bulldozing over people.

Leonard is unreal. Please be healthy for the playoffs.

*eta* I thought he was flexing his shoulder but actually it’s his wrist. Still on the bench and not even being looked at though he keeps flexing it.
