Wasn't feeling this one, I admit.

PG put them on his back, and that's what it takes in the NBA. 39 points, 44 minutes. Homeric.

What a God damn amazing comeback. Probably PG's best game of the season

Great energy from Clippers. Should never have been down that much. Not in the game. Harden/Tucker during the run... I dont think it was coincidental. I like the whole team cheering when PG made the game winner.

Impressive comeback win. Sheesh.

Hate PG had to play that many minutes.

Watching Leonard on the bench is a good sign. He was jumping up and clapping. Not saying his knee isn’t acting up but makes me think it’s rest and treatment to get ready for the playoffs.

Definitely a glass half empty/ half full scenario. But since we won...

PG is one of like 20 guys in the league who can look like the best player in the league on any given night. And there's not much a defense can do about it. It's so weird, when u watch that, and then you watch his bad games. But don't want to dwell on the negative, he's been playing really well for about a month now. Really good sign for the post season.

Brilliant move by Kawhi to sit out a few games so PG can get his confidence up right before the playoffs.

Need to go at least 2-2 in the remaining games to lock up the 4th seed.

We have

Suns
Suns
Jazz
Rockets

Mavericks at home also had to come back against Rockets, needed to go to OT to get the win. So the grass isn't necessarily greener...

The best part of this game was guys like Mann and Coffey stepping up when it mattered most. It's amazing what can happen when you actually let anyone under 30 make a play. Take notes, Lue.

Ah yes, Lue needs to take notes from himself who *checks notes* coached this game and left said players in the game during money time...

FTR:

Powell 28 minutes plus+19
Westbrook 25 minutes plus+18
Coffey 27 minutes plus+4
Plumlee 17 minutes plus+9

Most of the 4th quarter was PG-Plumlee-Powell-Westbrook-Coffey

Mann 29 minutes minus-10

Mann came in for Plumlee at the 3:04 mark
and Zu in with 30 seconds left

Yes, actually, he should take note of the fact that going away from his usual tendencies worked.

Let's be real here, these guys are role players, this is what role players do. Some games they step up, some games they don't. Some games they are aggressive, some games they are timid. I think we really have to get away from this type of analysis. Mann isn't going to go 6/6 every night because he's "allowed" to make plays. Coffey was 1/6, went 0/5 in the first 3 quarters and made a big three. Here's what this kind of analysis does, it Coffey missed that three, it changes to "Lue is the worst, always playing favorites, he saw Coffey was off all game and still kept him in to be in position to take a big shot".

If these guys could do big things every night, they would have much larger salaries.
