How about Gerald Green?

Since his agent is demanding a trade, how about we try to get him? It's time for us to go for young talent, no more 50 year olds!

I agree with you. Green's potential could be good for the future of the Clipps, but it would require us giving up Maggette. Do you really think Green will be better than Maggs? Not for some time...

I really don't know who we could give up for Green. Right now only Thornton comes to mind, but there's no way that we give him up.

Green's game is still way too raw offensively for him to be able to make a difference on this team. I say NO!

It would all depend on what we have to give up. I wouldn't give up too much since he'll be a UFA this summer.

The guy's in his third season and is a good 3pt shooter. All he needs is minutes. Give him minutes and he will develop...

To me getting GG is like a reminder of D-Miles. Low bball IQ, all flash and no substance.

At least Green can hit a jump shot outside of fifteen feet, either way Green would be a nice flyer for any team. Problem is that no matter where he goes he wont get playing time which he is seeking to get a contract in the off season.

^^^ There's always the Knicks to dish out the contracts.

I think the TWolves will agree to a trade of Green for Aaron Williams & a 2nd round pick than losing him for nothing. Or if you guys don

I figure if we are really interested in Green we can just sign him in the summer.

Normally I would agree however we have no roster spots and our own young players that are getting no burn, see Morris and Chandler.

Will the Knicks ever get things together before the first 10 yrs of this decade are up?

There are a few fundamental differences between a guy like Miles and a guy like Green, the most important one being their work ethics. A lot of people may think Gerald is a punk, think he's too cocky, or may flat out dislike his attitude, but if there's one thing I can say without any doubt about Gerald it's that he's dedicated to getting better, something that no one could ever say about Darius.
