I think it's their version of the thumbs up. Gotta remember this is a Basketball site first. And 1 is a basketball term.

For all you non basketball dudes, And-1 is the free throw after a made basket. Hence the And-1. I will watch Basketball and when I was quite a bit younger I could play a mean defense but I couldn't shoot to save my life.

That one I don't know. I think the triangle next to and is the report button or minus-1 button.

Figured this out a couple of days ago. The Scrolling Icon means there's more than one page. I guess to second and 3rd page icons were hard to understand.
