ESPN Dallas reports the Cowboys are concerned about CB Morris Claiborne's recovery from knee surgery.
Claiborne is five months removed from a torn patellar tendon and had his knee scoped in January. He's questionable for the start of training camp and can't be counted on for a 2015 role. Claiborne is due $2.6 million in the final year of his rookie contract.

Might be better off cutting him. I'm not sure if there will be suitors for him for a trade.

I agree that there is no way we cut Claiborne. As unlikely as it may sound I am holding out hope that he could be a decent role player for us. He has been good in spurts. Ignore his draft status because that is a sunk cost and focus on and whether he can contribute and earn a #3 or #4 CB spot. You need a minimum of 4 playable corners.

Once he's healthy I honestly think they should let him return punts. I mean they are getting absolutely zero out of him right now. He was pretty good at it in college. If he gets hurt again then oh well it's not like they're losing much.
