Egal Week !!!

Post#1 » by bluejerseyjinx » Fri Sep 18, 2015 2:34 am

Twice a year we have to deal with all the vile, no class Eagles and their fans. Lets not prolong the misery of Chip Kelly any longer. Lets blow them out and get chip fired early.

Forgot about this board. Hope all is well BJJ.

Big game this week. Would be sweet to be 3-1 even with the injuries if we can pull off a win...

Thanks Jarnett. Miss posting with you and as but don't miss the trolls and bull **** at the hoop, yet at times I go over and read what you and a few others are saying. All is well here. I'm busy juggling 40 fantasy teams along with all my side bets, parlays, teasers, etc,. Needed to find other ways to occupy my spare football times as I am not allowed banter with you fellas at the hoop anymore. Oh, by the way, I'm not liking what I see so far. Tell the guys at the hoop that I am still right about our DL. It sucks.

Despite our current situation, it would sure feel nice to sweep the girly Egals this year.

Some more redemption this week. Nice to see Bradford driven into the ground like Romo. It pleases me when bad things happen to the Egals despite what happens to us.

Well - here's something no one expected to see this season.

David Irving Named NFC Defensive Player Of The Week After Packer Win

FRISCO, Texas - All year, the Cowboys’ plan has been to develop the young talent on their defensive line, and that certainly worked well in Week 6.

The NFL announced Wednesday that David Irving has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week after his electric performance in the Cowboys’ 30-16 win against Green Bay.

Irving was the highlight of the Cowboys’ pass rush, as he sacked Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and forced three fumbles on the day - one of which he recovered on the Cowboys’ goal line. The second-year defensive lineman also posted four tackles and batted down a pass during the game.

"He’s a young player who’s learning how to play consistently down in and down out with the intensity he needs to play with, with the discipline that he needs to play with," said Cowboys coach Jason Garrett on Monday. "But there’s no question he showed what he’s capable of doing yesterday."

Perhaps the most amazing thing about Irving’s game was that he did it on just 19 snaps as a member of the Cowboys’ pass rush rotation.

It will be interesting to see if the award-worthy performance earns the young pass rusher any more snaps going forward.

Looks like we will be pretty much healthy by game time for this one. Scandrick they are saying will be ready. Dez maybe and should be back. By the way, whats up with the report I say yesterday regarding Dez cutting his fingers while cutting carrots. just wondering if it is a big deal. I also want Tyron Smith healthy. We need him. Egals for some reason play well in Big - D.

By the way guys, isn't it finally time we start to establish a true home field advantage? When was the last time we had this conversation? Its been many years I believe. To be honest I don't think we've had a true home field advantage since we left Texas Stadium.

We haven't had a home field advantage in years... even at Texas Stadium. I was at the Cowboys / Redskins game in '92 when it was louder than I had ever heard it before. Only time it came close to that was when we went to the NFC Championship game in January of 1996. Most of the time, it was polite noise. Nothing would make me happier than to hear the Death Star as loud for a Cowboys game as it was when I was there for Alabama / Michigan State back in December.

Lots of noise on Twitter right now... about Alshon Jeffery to the Eagles.

I'm feeling that we finally get a home victory vs. the Egals this year. Cowboys 34 - Egals 16.

I hope your right bjj. Really, really hope so.

I picked the Iggles in my weeklies. I keep getting the feeling this will be one of "those" weeks. Nothing other than that. I hope not.

Well, it was closer than I thought, but our offense played sloppy most of the night. The one thing that really pissed me off was the inability of the coaching staff to making the right adjustments as the game went on.
