I believe Morris is the back up no matter what. I wouldn't be upset at all if we got rid of McFadden and Dunbar.

Today Elliot reminded me of Dorsett in his rookie year.

To me Zeke reminds me of Ladanian Tomlinson. A bigger version of LT. He's already the best all around RB in the league and he has home run speed. The way he runs through tackles though really reminds me of Emmitt.

I wasn't talking about his physical attributes. I was more in tune to his moment of breaking that 60 yard run yesterday. I remember Dorsett doing that a couple times his rookie season although he never became the starter till week 10. Once was vs. the Egals, I can't remember the other team, maybe St. Louis.

Well today, Elliot broke Dorsett's rookie record for rushing yardage. Glad for the kid, good for him, he's in good company. For those of us that can remember that far, Dorsett didn't get his first start till week 10 of rookie year and still got 1000 yards playing 2 less games.

In an earlier post I mention how Elliott reminded me of Dorsett. I should have been more specific. In reference to Dorsett, I was mostly speaking in terms of the moment and impact of the season and team, not running styles. Actually Elliot reminds me most of Duane Thomas. Especially the way he takes on tacklers.

Looks like McFadden will be active the Thanksgiving game. I'm thinking they'll make Morris inactive. I have to say that I'm kind of interested to see how DMC can perform behind this line. He got over 1,000 yards last year and barely played in the first 4 games. He's not the player he once was but he still had some speed and the OL is playing better than they did last year. If he gets a couple holes in the line like Zeke has there is a chance we could see DMC take one to the house.

I think for the sake of this week, we should use Alfred Morris instead. I like it when a player gets motivated to play the team they left. I believe Morris scored in the first game vs. Washington.
