Maybe. I think their coach is gone.

Come to think of it, there’s only one player I’d like to see here and that’s M Smart. I don’t want Tatum because of his offensive mental lapses like AD. If Tatum is your best player, I’m not sure you ever win rings. Same as with AD.

Which is really great news for us We actually have mostly all the pieces needed in house. All we need to do is figure out the contracts and money and make correct moves

I was in a bar as saw the 4th quarter today. That seemed like a throw back game in a lot of ways.

Game 7. Will the C's come back?

What a finish.

But I thought when Butler was shooting those free throws, there was 2.1 seconds showing on the clock.

Then when Celtics were inbounding, they put it back to 3 seconds and they needed that extra time to make the game-winning tip.

Hmmm.

I thought our suffering is over when the Lakers got eliminated. :banghead:
Seeing Celtics rise up from the grave is excruciating for me.
Denver is a great team and should be favored but it's a game of hits and misses. KCP, Murray, MPJ can get cold while the Celtics get hot.

I had the Heat, until last second of the game yesterday. That’s a tough game 7 to take in Boston.

The team who controls the tempo wins the game. Fast pace = Celtics win. Slow pace = Heat win.

Celtics are the prime example of why you have to get the Star player. These are home grown players, who cannot and do not know how to win. We may not always win, but having that Star player to push our guys to the next level of play, is something we have been blessed with. These current Celtics do not know how to break thru and have hit a wall.
I believe that crew will break up after this Loss

Only if you count the pre merger Jurassic period titles Celtics piled up when there were only 8 teams in the league.

We’re the most dominant NBA franchise since year of the merger 1976.

EDIT: Prior to that, it was an 11 team league and those shouldn’t be counted.

Since it became the NBA after the 1976 season:

Lakers 11 NBA championships
Boston 4 NBA championships

Pretty weak and classless of Mike Malone even mentioning the Lakers and LBJ in their parade .
He just won a well deserved championship. Just STHU, celebrate with your team, and fans and show some class.
Winning a chip is very hard and it is absolutely huge and should be enough , but the fact that he had to go after other teams and players says more about his lack of character than anything else .

Beal goes to Phx. As expected. Lillard is for sure getting out of the West.

The Suns are getting Beal and giving up absolutely nothing. The Bartlestein father son connection paying off them.

And they are not saying anything about that.

The CP trade to LAL many years ago was much more balanced and less egregious than this one and it got nixed by Stern for “basketball reasons”.

Things tuned out just fine for us anyway but still.

I agree. It will be interesting to see how Phx fills out their roster. It ok as long the Lakers cannot do it, right? Lol

No basketball reasons stopping it this time? What’s up with David Stern’s legacy of negating trades…?
