Demarcus Cousins might be on the market.

Gasol for Cousins/Salmons/Garcia?

A Dwight/Cousins frontcourt would be so BEASTLY.

The Lakers have not assembled a good team. Many of the Laker players have gone past their prime and do not complement one another. This team is not a good team. The Lakers should have retained Bynum and a player similar to Lamar Odom that is considerably younger and added younger pieces to this team. This team will probably make the playoffs and possibly lose in the second round. Just a BAD team, I have been a fan since 1966. This team is terrible.

Every teams' fans want to trade their worst contract for a productive player on the block. Not shocked somebody suggested a Gasol for Cousins trade, but anyways the Lakers definitely wouldn't pull the trigger since they just passed up Delonte for the same problems that DMC has.

Indiana lacks a serviceable back up PG right now. not sure if they'll want Blake but I think a Duhon-Augustin (since Blake is injured) swap makes sense for both teams.

or acquiring Ridnour from the Wolves by sending them Duhon and Ebanks? gives them a solid PG and another wing (w/c they sorely lack). gives more time for Shved and Rubio is starting to comeback to his old form.

looks a little lop sided but makes sense, don't it?

We need a guard that can play alongside Nash that can knock down the occasional WIDE open shot from beyond the arc and can play lockdown defense so we no longer have to see guys like Jarrett **** Jack have career games against us every time they face us.

Why for the Lakers?:-We get a legit SF,great defender, and we can move MWP to the 4 to space the floor(or start Kirilenko at the 4 with MWP at the 3)
-we get 3 nice pieces for Gasol and 2 players who aren't/won't be used
-we get a very capable backup PG and a SF/PF prospect...Ridnour/Meeks/Williams/Hill is a decent enough bench
-we keep flexibility for 2014(Kirilenko and Ridnour expire in 2014)....

Why for the Wolvez?-Rubio/Shved/Ridnour/Barea and Roy when he returns....too many good players and few minutes to go around in the backourt....they can afford to give up one of those players in a trade
-3 headed frontcourt monster of Love/Gasol/Pekovic.....Love and Pekovic both had injury issues,Gasol can be very useful with big minutes if one or both go down with an injury again
-insurance if Pekovic will ask a ton in the summer as a FA....he'll come after a very good bargain deal for the Wolvez who paid him 5 mil a year and with his play this year,he could be asking for close to the MAX
Wolvez with Gasol would have a great backup plan and if they don't plan to give Pek what he asks for, they wouldn't lose that much
-With Gasol on board,Rubio's basically a lock to sign his extension

Dwight trade proposal

Would anyone else be against trading dwight Howard for Kevin love. After watching this guy play, I have come to realize he is extremely overrated and his offense is horrendous. I am so sick and tired of this overrated guy, I have no idea why we ever give this guy the ball in the post because he is horrendous there

No I wouldn't trade Dwight for Love. Why would Minnesota trade for a guy who will leave them after the season?

Please use your brain.

*By the way Dwight is coming off back surgery,so he still isn't 100%

Dwight's offense hasn't been great but his shooting percentage is very respectable given that he's not 100% recovered from back surgery and his defense has been very respectable also.

It's unfortunate the fate of our team largely depends on whether or not Dwight can return to pre back surgery form but we all knew this was going to be the case before the season began. Dwight has been infinitely better than Bynum, who hasn't played one game so far this season, so to this point the gamble on Dwight has definitely paid off. 70% Dwight is still a better all around player than most other centers in the league. Will Dwight continue to improve and be close to his former self by season's end? That's the million dollar question but it's laughable at this point to think gambling on Dwight was a mistake. What better option was available to us? With Dwight on our roster we have hope going forward that by year's end we'll have the talent to compete for a championship. Without Dwight? Notsomuch!

man I know Dwight's offense hasn't been great this year all the while he still isn't 100% and isn't finishing at the rim like he would if he was at 100% health, but have you seen Kevin Love this year? He hasn't exactly been a model of efficiency, and his defense is one of the worst in the leagues at PF.

I think only trades that could really help this team at this point doing something to sure up our rotation. But moving a huge piece this point is just too much for this team and all of their turmoil to absorb. There is just not enough time. I think we just need for everyone to gel.

now that we are starting to see how effective this team can be now they are complete and playing with direction, I don't see a necessity in trading away anyone, unless if it's for the future.
