I think Shaq at the MLE is a good deal, especially for a team that can bring him off the bench. It won't be the Lakers though because we need a point guard first.

Hell no, Kobe needs to win as many rings without that Shaq-ass. Besides, Shaq will demand the MLE or higher.

We can use the MLE and veteran's minimum to improve our bench and sign multiple players who fear/respect Kobe Bryant. The list includes players like Tracy McGrady, Raja Bell, Mike Miller, Luke Ridnour, Kurt Thomas, Tony Battie, etc. Once Lakers repeat this season, we'll have a whole list full of vets wanting to chase rings on the Kobe wagon.

This was actually moved from the GB. ( by me) since it was more Laker specific.

No thanks. Shaq is now quite literally the "Old ball and chain" :lol:

His downside far outweighs his upside....aka hes got a huge buttocks and just takes up space on the court and on the bench.

Call it a career Shaq and stop trying to glomb onto the next team you perceive has a chance to win it all.

I harken back to a pre-retirement Barkely who pretty much did the same thing.

Time to come up with one last nick name....
