So the hold up with the Bobcats sending off their #2 pick is if someone also takes on Tyrus Thomas' contract. It has 3 more years remaining. This upcoming year he makes $8m, next year 8.6m then 9.3m. that really is hard to swallow then again... we could absorb his contract in a separate deal and obtain that #2 pick from them in a 3 way involving Houston. Unfortunately they have no use for Kevin Martin now that they got Ben Gordon.
2014: Randle / Clarkson
2015: Russell / Nance
2016: Ingram / Zubac
2017: Top 3 Pick? Fultz, Ball or Bust

Realgm Wiretap wrote:Bradley Beal revealed that Sam Presti told him in an interview in Chicago that the Thunder were interested in trading up to draft him.

Oklahoma City doesn't have a selection until the No. 28 pick.

"He told me he was going to decide what they're going to do and considered getting up there," Beal said.

Beal said Denver, which picks at No. 20, also made a similar statement.

In order to draft Beal, the Thunder would almost certainly need to trade James Harden. League sources said Oklahoma City would be unable to avoid tax issues if they had Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Harden and Serge Ibaka under lucrative contracts.

Trading for Harden could make sense for a team like the Bobcats, though there is no guarantee he would be willing to sign a long-term extension.

"I've heard it a lot," Beal said of the Thunder scenario. "It's really interesting. I would love to play with Kevin Durant. (Russell) Westbrook, great point guard. Just the whole team. It's young; I would love to play with a young team. They play fast. I'd love to get up and down, shoot the ball. Overall, whatever situation I Iand in I'll be happy."

Presti and Billy Donovan have had multiple conversations on the phone about Beal, as well.

A source with direct knowledge of the situation said, "Oklahoma City exhausted every opportunity on campus to find out everything they could find out about Beal. They've done everything they can."

The Spurs have also been interested in moving up to draft Beal.

It seems OKC may leaning towards letting Harden go and trading him for the #2 or #3 pick and let someone else pay Harden like Washington.

No Bosh for the Olympics now.
Should of seen this coming after he came back early from his strained abdomen injury against Boston.

No Bynum, No Dwight, No Lamarcus as well.

It looks like it will all be up to Tyson Chandler, Kevin Love, and hopefully Blake Griffin to compete against Spain's 3 headed monster of PAU, Marc, and Serge.

Oh yeah doesn't hurt that we also got Kobe, Lebron, and Kevin Durant suiting up as well. :D

Kobe should sit his ass in that chryo chamber in Germany all summer... He's got enough medals, we need another trophy.

Kobe needs to sit and rest those legs. So we can get ready to roll come the start of the season.

Quite surprised that there was no major trades during last night's draft.

34 mil? Isn't that too much? They still have to sign Allen, Bass, Green(?), and Mayo.

That's one hell of a team:

Rondo/Bradley
Allen/Mayo
Pierce/Green
Bass
Garnett

plus Sullinger and Melo. That team is on the right track.
