Okay for the record, i was setting my lineups. I happened to have major injuries all throughout and was waiting for them to come back until I can fully participate. Having participated in it every year and making playoffs every year, i found it very premature i was booted from the league for having a half week hiatus. have fun with your league

I have to agree with Des on this one. Members need to at least be notified whether they want to stay or leave. I thought he was at least asked.

Looking at his line up; Lowry, Dirk and Stoudemire have been out. You can't work miracles when a slew of top players like that are injured, much less stay competitive.

That's not his fault. If that's part of the basis of him getting the rope, its unfair. There is always going to be someone with a crap record, in this case it was out of his control for the most part.

he was clearly not setting his lineup and had players who he shouldve dropped for weeks/months now. he was called out multiple times in this thread and not until he was finally kicked did he respond. thats absolutely ridiculous that someone in last place cant drop players and set their lineups at least somewhat consistently.

looking at last week he didnt set his lineup saturday, friday, or wednesday for sure. i doubt he set his lineup the other days of the week either.

it would be one thing if he was participating and responding and was just unlucky, but he wasnt. he wasnt doing **** about his team and wasnt responding to people calling him out both in this thread and on the fantasy board.

if we want to have a fun active league then people like this should not be allowed to participate. it kills it for everyone.

there are those of us who participate on this board at least somewhat regularly, and therefore we should be able to be in an at least somewhat active league.

like if youre not going to set lineups, try to improve your team, or at least drop **** players, then why even play? what do you care if you get kicked if you dont even participate?

Than next year there needs to be rules addressing that to all participants heading in then.

It just seems a little unfair how now that Dirk and Stoudemire are around the corner, he gets booted out but whatever. Whats done is done.

His top players have injured but the guys that have been injured haven't been riddled with season ending type of injuries so why toss em.

Aside from Landry Fields, what players did he need to exchange that were going to make a difference in his W/L's? He was going to be crap regardless because Dirk and Stat have been out.

also pretty sure the only reason that happened is because he was booted.

No one hated on him for having injuries, but if you're not participating then get out. He's had huge injuries, but what part of that makes him disappear from the league every single week?

He's been called out I'd guess at least 10 times since the league started, has he said one thing?

He's sooo sad he got booted... how has he participated, by setting lineups for 3 weeks? If that's all you're gonna do, why would the rest of the league care that you're gone? He hasn't said one thing to us while he was here, he hasn't made any real moves... I really don't see the point in being in a league if there's gonna be no interaction at all and if you're not trying to field (not Landry Fields) the best team.

Seriously, booting a guy randomly is unfair, but I can find you loads of instances of myself and others addressing him and calling him out with not one response... for weeks.
How is that unfair?

pretty sure the mass email i sent to inactive owners about 3-4 weeks ago included him as well.

guys just gotta get active. i myself have forgotten to set lineups a few times, and haven't had a single trade if i remember correctly, but im still actively reading this thread and replying when appropriate.

exactly. i mean stephano forgot to set his lineup like a bad because of finals and came in here and said so. pretty sure that tylerslakers guy did too. its one thing when you miss setting your lineup a couple times, its another when you miss it multiple weeks, AND dont respond to people calling you out, AND dont drop **** injured players, AND in general dont care about your team.

i wouldve kicked him awhile ago if i was doc tbh.

yeah, i mean, i hope he's not too upset and sees it from active owners perspective.

- last place by a fair amount
- not setting lineups (recently at least)
- holding on to players that are hurt and should be dropped a long time ago (fields)
- have never posted in this thread before, at all

i hope you can see how things were looking grim and in fairness to owners that are active and putting in their time, a more active owner was needed.
