Or Snyder's. But now he's Euro Phil's protege.

Re: D'Antoni, 710 is pushing him really hard.

If this happens say hello to 72-5 here on out and a second-round playoff exit

Seems like most forgot about that book he did while in Phoenix, that BS really talked about some stuff in regards to our franchise and also calling Phil's walk "penguin like". Sorry but I'm not feeling D'Antoni at all.

D'Antoni is a terrible coach. Steve Nash made him look good in Phoenix and he's been riding that ever since. He sucks as a defensive coach and the Lakers (and any championship team) need to be a defense first team. If the Lakers choose D'Antoni they will not be getting any rings.

I'm not a D'Antoni fan but respect what he did with PHX. They got pretty close with Amare as their "anchor" who also got suspended in a crucial game. This team definitely needs someone to emphasize defense but that offense would be a fun thing to watch. I'd prefer the zenmaster but my concerns are how Nash will be utilized and if PJ still has it in him. It was excruciating to watch him staring into space the last season he was here...

i hope the Lakers aren't really considering this guy as an option. He has a career .533 regular season & .473 playoff win percentage and couldnt run a team that had Carmelo and Amare on it in NY, what makes him so sure "he'd be a perfect fit" (Phil is the perfect fit no matter how you look @ it). D'Antoni will be a minor upgrade over Brown, but just like Brown did, D'Antoni will talk a big game & come up short in the playoffs. Just like Max said yesterday on 710, this guys name should be Mike Antoni , just like his coaching ways... without the D !

D'Antoni is Mike Brown's polar opposite but not in a good way. All offense and no defense.
