We should go all in on Brandon Jennings, they might trade him closer to the deadline because they feel he will command a max contract and Milwaukee doesn't want to pay him max money.

Pau/Blake/Morris for Jennings/Ilyasova/Gooden

If we could take 2 of their bad contracts I think we could make a deal, they clearly overpaid Ilyasova and Gooden also has a bad deal for 2 more years.I feel like Jennings could become a star pg learning from Nash and he would help our bench scoring as a 6th man.He would probably start next year because Nash would be a step slower he can mentor Jennings till he retires.

Nash/Jennings
Kobe/Meeks
Metta/Ebanks
Ilyasova/Jamison
Dwight/Hill/Gooden

I'm not moving Metta World Peace back to SF. He's absolutely changed the team's defense at the PF spot with his rotation speed, his quick hands, and his ability to space the floor. Let's see him take on a more sizable guy before we call him the next LeBron but still, there's a world of difference with him at PF.

Trade Pau for a tweener forward that can play great defense and hit the 3.

Pau for Kirilenko would be amazing. Deng would be even better and Granger would work as well.

On the real..... A real trade that could work is...

Jordan hill, Blake, and morris... For bayless and speights

We could use bayless more effectively.

I really wish we use gasol in his most effective position, which Is center. Off the bench of course.

Bayless, Meeks, ebanks, speights, gasol... Would be a sick bench

I can only imagine how much D'Antoni loves the idea of Hawes at C next to an athletic PF. Three point shooting C with a decent overall game? Pringles is horny.

The three scoring leaders in order for the D-League are Goudelock, CDR, and Johnson-Odom. Go figure. If only Goudelock had any court vision.

I know someone had mentioned resigning CDR instead of trading for a PG. if so id prefer him playing the back up 3 over Ebanks.

As long as you have two ball handlers on the court you can get by. You could play CDR-Kobe, Nash-CDR, and get by without having to sign a defensive liability or a guy that you don't trust in West.

Then you simply play Meeks against their PG. Something like:

- Dorell Wright for Hill+Ebanks
- Sign CDR

I completely agree with you about Artest. He should be playing most minutes at pf. However, I still really like the 2 bigs lineup too. Having a 3 big man rotation of Gasol, Dwight, and Artest I think is ideal. Jamision and Hill are the odd men out.

Go with a 3-2 zone then if you're playing with the two big men.

Atlanta is not making any trades with us,they will let Harris expire and make a run at Dwight this summer to join his buddy Jsmoove.

This is a trade that I can definitely see benefiting both sides. I rather give up Jamison but Hill is definitely more appealing to the trade market right now.

Jazz fan here:

Still think Millsap/Marvin/Raja for Pau Gasol is the deal to do.

Whats the incentive for Utah, though? All they're doing is swapping one big man for another. Another big that isn't going to put them over the top. Meanwhile Kanter and Favors remain on the bench hungry for minutes.

The only thing i can think of that would motivate them is that they won't make the mistake of signing milsap and Jefferson to big deals in the offseason. I do think they would trade those guys rather easily but probably for other needs and not Pau. Still not a terrible deal for them...

Are the lakers prepared to sign milsap for 4 X $10 though in the offseason? I doubt it

The incentive, albeit somewhat weak, is to get something for Milsap before he leaves, and to avoid buying out Raja.

The only way they do it is if they also have a deal in place for Al Jeff.

Yeah they could just trade him for picks or just let Al Jeff expire next season while having Pau serve as stop gap for their young bigs to develop without having to commit a veteran player into an extension.
