But what if OKC decides Westbrook and Durant will never fit together, would you do a Westbrook for Dwight deal?

Clippers would love Dwight with Paul and griffin.

New York might trade chandler for Nash and deandre

We get a defensive center, dump our trash, get mad expiring contracts, and a solid bench.

I'm sorry, but with all the expiring contracts, the long term goals are acheivable ie: lebron

Bledsoe, kobe, lebron, chandler, with a solid bench, and pf will contend.

Also, Bledsoe, lamar, billups, and chandler > Dwight and Nash.... Right from the jump

No drama, no weak mentality, all winners

Lets just make this deal already. Tired of this team

Post#928 » by Vlade12 » Fri Feb 15, 2013 6:45 am

Lakers just get tired of the soap opera and make a move before Dwight walks

I propose this three team trade
http://basketball.realgm.com/tradecheck ... de/6238294
Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.

Due to Brooklyn, the L.A. Lakers, and Sacramento being over the cap, the 50% trade rule is invoked. Brooklyn, the L.A. Lakers, and Sacramento had to be no more than 150% plus $100,000 of the salary given out, or no more than $5,000,000 (whichever is lesser), for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Trade ID
Trade ID #6238294

Brooklyn Nets

Incoming Players
Dwight Howard
27 year old , 6-11, 265 lb F-C from Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy (Georgia)
16.3 ppg, 11.9 rpg, 1.6 apg in 34.9 minutes

James Johnson
25 year old , 6-9, 248 lb F from Wake Forest
5.4 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.1 apg in 17.2 minutes

Outgoing Players
Brook Lopez
24 year old , 7-0, 265 lb C from Stanford
19.0 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 0.9 apg in 30.3 minutes in 2012-2013

Mirza Teletovic
27 year old , 6-9, 255 lb F from Caja Laboral (Spain)
3.1 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 0.4 apg in 7.7 minutes in 2012-2013

MarShon Brooks
24 year old , 6-5, 200 lb G from Providence
5.1 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 0.9 apg in 11.3 minutes in 2012-2013

Andray Blatche
26 year old , 6-11, 260 lb F from South Kent School (Connecticut)
10.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 1.0 apg in 19.0 minutes in 2012-2013

Nets land their man, and superstar that Russian owner has really wanted. Dwight goes to play with DWill what he always wanted. Nets go all out for a home run

Dwight Evans
Humpries
Wallace Johnson
Johnson Stackhouse/Bogans
Dwill Watson

that makes a solid playoff team in the east perhaps a contender if Dwight ever goes back to being the Magic Dwight. No more pressure in LA

Los Angeles Lakers Trade Breakdown

Incoming Players
Marcus Thornton
25 year old , 6-4, 205 lb G from LSU
11.5 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 1.1 apg in 23.8 minutes

DeMarcus Cousins
22 year old , 6-11, 270 lb C from Kentucky
17.3 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 2.9 apg in 31.4 minutes

Aaron Brooks
28 year old , 6-0, 161 lb G from Oregon
8.1 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 2.4 apg in 21.1 minutes

Tyler Honeycutt
22 year old , 6-8, 188 lb F from UCLA
0.9 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 0.2 apg in 3.5 minutes

Outgoing Players
Dwight Howard
27 year old , 6-11, 265 lb F-C from Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy (Georgia)
16.3 ppg, 11.9 rpg, 1.6 apg in 34.9 minutes in 2012-2013

Devin Ebanks
23 year old , 6-9, 215 lb F from West Virginia
3.7 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.6 apg in 11.3 minutes in 2012-2013

Lakers land possibly the best center prospect in the game, who has a low post game. Thornton scorer would e so great on this year. Mike D could slide Kobe at 3 if he wanted to go small. Thornton is a great shooter! Aaroon Brooks would be a huge upgrade to Blake and really help with speed and out bench. Honeycutt is another potential gem glued to the Kings bench be is young with potential

Cousins Gasol
Earl Jamison
MWP Meeks
Kobe Thornton
Nash Brooks

3 guard lineup off the bench in the playoffs. Nets would also throw a future 1st in the deal.

Sacramento Kings Trade Breakdown

Incoming Players
Brook Lopez
24 year old , 7-0, 265 lb C from Stanford
19.0 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 0.9 apg in 30.3 minutes

10.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 1.0 apg in 19.0 minutes

Devin Ebanks
23 year old , 6-9, 215 lb F from West Virginia
3.7 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 0.6 apg in 11.3 minutes

Outgoing Players
Marcus Thornton
25 year old , 6-4, 205 lb G from LSU
11.5 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 1.1 apg in 23.8 minutes in 2012-2013

DeMarcus Cousins
22 year old , 6-11, 270 lb C from Kentucky
17.3 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 2.9 apg in 31.4 minutes in 2012-2013

Aaron Brooks
28 year old , 6-0, 161 lb G from Oregon
8.1 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 2.4 apg in 21.1 minutes in 2012-2013

James Johnson
25 year old , 6-9, 248 lb F from Wake Forest

Tyler Honeycutt
22 year old , 6-8, 188 lb F from UCLA
0.9 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 0.2 apg in 3.5 minutes in 2012-2013

New look Sonics would trade the Cousins who is not a leader for a young top 5 center who would be happy in Seattle. T Rob and J Thompson would be the 4men with Blatche as a wildcard. Ebanks will also get chance to prove himself on this team. Marshon Brooks has a lot of talent and could thrive with the green light. Jimmer gets more PT too.

Lopez Blatche Hayes
Thompson TRob
Ebanks Salmons
Tyreke Brooks
Isiah Jimmer

that looks like a fun team, and they could flip Treke for another asset, and draft a swingman if they see no potential in Ebanks. I personally like Cousins game more then Dwight, much more scoring ability. He is just a hot head but not a Diva. He plays with passion unlike Dwight, and would be a star here. I like the potential fire power and needed speed of Thornton and Brooks off the bench. Nets get the superstar big name they coveted. Sonics land a blue chip 7 footer to anchor their team, and get ride of some bodies who are clogging up the development of the team, and add Marshon Brooks who has flashed skills

Hawks get:
Dwight Howard
Metta World Peace (2 years, 15 mill)
Steve Blake (2 years, 8 mill)

Lakers get:
Al Horford
Shawn Marion (2 years, 8 mill)
Louis Williams (3 years, 15 mill)
Kyle Korver ($5 mill expiring)
DeShawn Stevenson (3 years, 7 mill)
Atlanta 2013 1st round pick
Rockets 2013 1st round pick (Atlanta owns from Joe Johnson trade)

Dallas gets:
Devin Harris ($8 mill expiring)
2nd round pick (from Hawks)

Lakers get a blue chipper in Horford who is the perfect PF with Gasol (when he comes back), Shawn Marion who will actually fit into this system, Louis Williams and Korver who they desperately need, replenish the picks, lose MWP and Blake both of whom are addition by subtraction and, if they chose to do it ... they could add in a 3rd team and flip Korver's expiring for another player.

Hawks get to team up Dwight and Josh Smith - best buddies, dwight's hometown. they keep teague to make a pretty formidable team in the east.

Dallas helps out Marion and gets another expiring contract plus pick.

Now:
Nash
Kobe
Marion
Jamison
Horford

Bench: Williams, Meeks, Korver, Stevenson, etc.

Evenutally:
Nash
Kobe
Marion
Horford
Gasol

^^^^ eventually? Lol Nash only has a short window.... I'd like the lakers to trade Howard, Earl Clark, and Jamison for Brandon Jennings, Ersan Ilyasova, and daron lamb. A pg for the future who can play off the ball while Nash is still there, kinda how jkidd and Felton do it. Ilyasova would flourish in D'antonis system, as would lamb. If not Dwight then Pau.

Jennings is on his way out anyway and you would be willing to give Dwight for him? Bucks fans would be willing to take pennies on the dollar for Jennings. Surely, Mitch wouldn't be that crazy.

Send them MWP as well, send Humphries to a third team to save salary, and keep Lopez plus the picks/youth.

PG- Nash, Watson, 1st from Brooklyn
SG- Bryant, Brooks
SF- Clark,
PF- Hill, Williams
C- Lopez, 1st from Minnesota

Then deal Gasol for Derrick Williams plus a pick.

Dwight, Ebanks to ATL
Love, Pachulia, 2nd fr ATL to LAL
Horford, Jenkins, 1st fr ATL or HOU to MIN

Love lets us start start the 2014 planing now.
Resign Clark and Jamison, and roster next year is:

Nash/Blake/Duhon
Kobe/Meeks
Clark/Ron
Love/Jamison
Pau/Hill

2014 we have at least Love, Hill, and Clark as the core. Just need to pick up a nice young guard.
