Gasol, djo, sacre for kirelenko, d.will, and if possible, budinger...... Otherwise just Gasol, djo, sacre for kirelenko, d.will

Kirelenko in my humble opinion wouldn't make us miss gasol as much, he us jyst as good of a passer and is a better defender, who is more suited for a run n gun offense.

If Sacramento is willing to trade Evans for Williams, they'll do it and just cut the Lakers out. They're in need of a SG.

Can Houston absorb a large contract by trading a minimal one?

If so, got a great 3 way idea with Utah

Lakers trade gasol, duhon, Blake, and djo to Utah for al Jefferson, Paul milsap, raja bell, and randy four.

We then try to pry chandler parsons for al jefferson, if we cant, we settle for montejunas

Gasol and Blake for Granger and West.

I don't know who or what else would need to be included in the trade, perhaps a third team, but Granger and West is who I want.

why would the pacers trade for all intents and purposes, their star, and david west who has been playing very well, for pau gasol. it makes no sense for them.

Well that would be a perfect fit since Hill could play minutes next to West however the reasoning for Indiana is missing.

I believe Indiana is ready to hand over the reigns to Sir Paul George and Gasol would help take the pressure off of him, more-so than another outside shooter.

The only reason I can see for Indiana is that they'd want to move Paul down to SF full-time and re-signing West to a long-term deal isn't as appealing as having Pau for one year while the younger guys on that team begin to gel, get the starting nod... If you have West he probably blocks Hansbrough long-term. Pau bridges the gap nicely.

There was a Philly trade that had basically that scenario. I can't remember exactly what it was but Pau went to Philly, either Turner/Young went to Indiana (which makes sense considering their competition at PF in the East) and some kind of other compensation went to Indiana.

im not sure about anything, but i imagine that if indiana was trading both of them theyd have their sights set higher than the 30+ pau gasol

The Philly trade had West, Hawes, and Wright in L.A. which would be absolutely ideal for the Lakers. Still considering Andrew Bynum's health in Philly, Gasol should go to Philly not to Indiana.

Their fans were quick to send out Thad Young and Hawes for Gasol. That's not bad value for L.A. They could play Thad next to Jamison or MWP as their sixth man and they would still Hill-Hawes as backups.

i dont think philly would be interested in pairing up gasol with bynum again, theyd run into the same problems we had.

I think Bynum is gone. If not Gasol is an expiring next year when Bynum comes back anyway. He's great insurance really.

lol no still rather have Pau, and I sure wouldn't want Lopez on his max. There aren't really any teams that would trade a good PF for Lopez. Maybe NO and i'm not even sure they would.
