yep, and it's Dudley (basing on recent performances from the 2, Jared's producing consistently). I'm actually sold on Beasley for Blake/Duhon and Ebanks.

if we could get Beasley for Blake/Duhon and Ebanks its a non brainer.

That would be a steal, but I wonder if Phoenix is in to doing us favors since they gave us Nash.

I wonder if we could move Pau to Indiana. We could pick up David West (expiring I think), but other than some Sam Young D at SG, I'm not sure who we could realistically ask for back with Pau to make the salaries work.

We are seeing that trade proposal for a million times now. We don't want Bargs. And hell no to Kleiza. Calderon is the only decent player that we are to received. If you wanna trade with us, Bargs/Jose/Ross should be the starting point.

would something around Jose for Hill and Duhon or Blake work?

Its a no brainer as in you DON't do it! Beasley has negative value on the basketball court. He is a terrible defensive player and just a streaky jump shooter on offense...that holds the ball and stalls ball movement. A big NO! The Lakers need defenders...and players that move the ball. Every team that gets Beasley immediately wants him gone.

seriously why would we want beasley? what about the lakers makes you think he will be an effective player? our players cant even play with intensity and effort every night and you expect us to get beasley to do that? wtf team are you guys watching.

dudley on the other hand would be awesome, but again, i see no reason for the suns to trade him to us for trash.

We almost had him back then if NBA allowed us to sign CP, i think he will flourish in a more mature team like the Lakers. Look at Blake, its doesnt matter if he plays or not, the Lakers still sucks, because since he injured , we cannot deal him atm. I dont wanna to argue though, we still can get better deals than Beasley, if we carefully wait & see the situation. Mitch has weakness, signing good/functional role players aint his strength, despite has ability to sign/trade stars. Should've cut Ebanks or another useless young guys who cannot produce in favour Pietrus.

Mitch can reedem that mistakes with Delonte West signing. Bipolar or not, hes our best bet on the bench, he can lead the 2nd unit together with Jamison & Hill. He will be our best creator from the bench.

Also, i think Lakers should be more patient with Pau, i heard Love slighty unhappy in Wolves, not like we can pull the trade easily, but Lakers could closely monitong the situation on there. Remember when Mitch turning down Bynum for Kidd trade ? Well, thats the turning point of Pau, Nash, Howard signing.

The suns have no reason to move Beasley 20 games into the new season when the whole team is struggling, and his contract doesn't hurt them because they still have cap space. But Beasley would do well in LA not because of the "veteran presence" but because of Norm Nixon. Also I do agree that hes playing poorly but hes also playing injured and has been moving the ball pretty well, just look at the game against the lakers he had 9 nice assists and could have had a couple more if the other players finished the play.

Question, would you guys consider trading Howard for Anderson Varejao? after watching last nights game, he seems like a better fit to D'Antoni's system.

what was it about the lakers player movement this off-season/season that made u think the FO needed to be saved from a bad trade?

was it the horrible bynum for howard trade that the lakers are surely regretting?

i think you misunderstood my point... i said a "mistake" not a trade

as for what have they done poorly... everything other than nash and D12 quite frankly

they missed out on a TON of FA's who signed for the minimum elsewhere in order to maintain roster spots for 4 scrubs DJO, Ebanks, Morris, Sacre

how would the lakers be playing if those spots were held by

blatche, barbosa, Pietrus, West?

I use those guys simply as examples... there are TONS of other vets who signed for the minimum who could help

The real problem is we accumulated ZERO bench assets this offseason KNOWING we had no picks we could deal during the season to improve the team...

what if we had signed a blatche for the minimum... wouldn't that have made hill expendable in a trade?

If Mitch and Jim had taken the approach the Nets did with their bench then we wouldn't be playing scrubs major minutes right now.

Bottom line, the FO got lazy after the two trades... nothing more nothing less

Paul George is taking over that SF spot in Indiana. I would not be surprised to see Danny Granger moved. Perhaps a three-way deal where Granger and Hansbrough come to L.A. with Gasol going out for a SG.

George will slide back to 2 when Granger comes back. expendable players in that roster are Augustin, Green and probably Hansbrough.

DJ Augustin would be pretty awesome but i dont see them giving up on gerald green.
