Using Magic's logic that Mavs want Dwight and Dwight wants Mavs (the thought of Cuban and Dwight makes me sick) how about this trade:

Dallas Out: Marion, Mayo, Kaman
Dallas In: Howard, Barbosa

Collison
Barbosa
Vince Carter
Dirk
Howard

LAL OUT: Howard
LAL IN: Mayo, Bass, Marion (Both Mayo and Marion expire in 14)

Nash/Duhon/Blake/Morris
Mayo/MWP/Morris/Meeks
Kobe/MWP/Clark
Marion/Bass/Clark/MWP
Gasol/Clark/Sacre

Bos Out: Barbosa, Bass
Bos In: Kaman

Rondo
Bradley
Pierce
Garnett
Kaman

Boston gets an expiring in Kaman and Dallas draft pick. Not sure if Boston does this (seems unlikely).

Why would the Wolves???

Love >> Pau
Shved > Brooks
Wallace is a nice piece but not at the expense of Love and Shved.

was not actually serious but I'll make up an answer:

- those >'s are injured
- wing depth
- Spaniard connection

If we're gonna blow this up (or almost all of it anyway) let's go for something drastic here shall we?

Deal #1, four team trade (ATL/LAL/IND/SAC)

LAL in: Demarcus Cousins, Danny Granger, Devin Harris
LAL out: Dwight Howard, Chris Duhon

Why for the Lakers: Get some value for Dwight while we can and don't take the risk that he bolts in the summer. Cousins is a high risk high reward gamble but he's here for at least next year on a favorable rookie deal. Granger (once he comes back from injury of course) gives us a consistent two way threat at the SF position. Harris is in this deal for salary purposes but would be a tremendous upgrade at the backup PG position. 2014 plan is preserved as no incoming contract extends beyond next year.

ATL in: Dwight Howard, Chris Duhon
ATL out: Al Horford, Devin Harris

Why for the Hawks:Commit to the Smoove/D12 frontcourt-best buds reunited in their home town of Atlanta. A tremendous defensive tandem surrounded by shooters should make the Hawks a notable force in the East with this deal.

IND in: Tyreke Evans, Francisco Garcia OR John Salmons
IND out: Danny Granger, Lance Stephenson

Why for the Pacers:With the emergence of Paul George at the 3, Granger may be the odd man out. They upgrade from Stephenson to Evans who can split time at both guard positions and who should do well out of the toxic situation that he was in.

SAC in: Al Horford, Lance Stephenson, Miles Plumlee
SAC out: Demarcus Cousins, Tyreke Evans, Salmons OR Garcia

Why for the Kings:The new owners of the Kings/Sonics look for a fresh start, dumping off both Cousins and Evans for Horford who is locked in for quite on a while on a very reasonable contract.

Deal #2, three team trade (LAL/MIL/MIN)

LAL in: Monta Ellis, Derrick Williams, Larry Sanders OR Ekpe Udoh OR Samuel Dalembert
LAL out: Pau Gasol, Jodie Meeks, Darius Morris, Devin Ebanks

Why for the Lakers: Essentially we trade Pau for a bench without forfeiting 2014.

MIL in: Nikola Pekovic, Brandon Roy, Jodie Meeks, Darius Morris
MIL out: Monta Ellis, Sanders OR Udoh OR Dalembert

Why for the Bucks: Dump off Ellis who isn't resigning (most likely) for an offensive post option they desparately need.

MIN in: Pau Gasol, Devin Ebanks
MIN out: Derrick Williams, Nikola Pekovic, Brandon Roy

Why for the Wolves: Pair Gasol with Rubio, they keep their PGs, get another wing.

Final lineup:

Nash/Harris/Blake
Bryant/Ellis
Granger/MWP
Clark/Williams/Jamison/Hill (IR)
Cousins/Sanders or Udoh or Dalembert/Sacre

8-)

Nothing beats this sad excuse for a reason Gasol should be traded to the Wolves.

Wolves have been decimated by injuries, a deal like this doesn't make them a playoff team this year so absolutely not reason to make such a short sighted deals.

An injured Love still worth significantly more than Gasol who looks like a shell of his former self, and still due $20+ million next season.

Shved will be back soon, simply an ankle sprain might even play in the next game.

Since boston want to get rid of Pierce and we need a defensive/elite PG.

LAKERS OUT: Dwight Howard, Steve Nash, MWP
LAKERS IN: Rondo, Paul Pierce, Jeff Green

Rondo
Kobe
Pierce
Green

No. Steve Nash doesn't fit this team, he's a defensive liability and makes us older. Im not even going to bother explaining MWP. In terms of Dwight, we have no clue whether he'll actually get healthy, he has no post up moves, and his attitude/immaturity is ruining this team.

Plus, with rondo/pierce we would have 3 people that could create their own shot.

Ersan Ilyasova + LRMM for Gasol

Both sides say agree to this. Luc is one of the greatest defenders in the nba which lakers needs so badly. Ersan is a stretch 4 gain his confidence last 2-3 games averaging 27 -15-3. His
problem is inconcistency but with increased PT, he can evite it.

Mil needs Veteran Leadership , somebody to control their chuckers and good passer. It's Gasol. Both teams benefits from this trade.

gasol for ilyasova, udrih(if bucks were willing) and one of harris/dunleavy

gasol adds a post threat to the bucks. him and sanders could be a pretty scary front court in the east. this also gives the bucks another marquee player to market and help increase the fan base going into the playoffs.

ilyasova helps stretch the floor for LA's front court, adds rebounds, and most importantly, gives us off ball screens which we desperately lack. (i usually only see nash doing that for us) dunleavy or more realistically, harris, gives us another athletic 3 that can space the floor for us. Udrih is a great passing pg who knows how to run an offense and pick and rolls

a lot of people will say, "add monta and you have a deal"

no, monta should not be part of this trade if it were to be considered by the bucks
