3 of the 4 trades involve a center going back to Atlanta. This will allow Al Horford to play his natural position of Power Forward.

Atlanta knows that Josh Smith will want the max or close to the max, and so this way they can get an equal value replacement on a cheaper deal, rather than seeing Josh Smith leave for nothing in return.

Funnily enough Bogut and Ellis were traded for each other and McGee and Nene were traded for each other.

For that Denver deal, you might as well just ask for Iggy + Corey Brewer; that's literally how much of a chance either has of happening, and that trade's probably better anyway.

Bogut is always injured so they get Gasol who they use at the 5. They also dump Biedrins horrible contract.

You dont realize that Bogut is only 27 and doesnt have any chronic injury issues? He got injured on bad plays on different years and they are being cautious. In do GS take on a bigger contract in Pau at 5 years older when he wont make them a contender. Bogut is a top 3 Center when healthy and is probably above average defensive anchor.

He's injury prone. Gets injured in a different spot every single year. Just how it's been
