Lakers Looking for Point Guard

Freaking sign Delonte West already. Get rid of Morris or Duhon (preferably both) and pick him up. The guy can have all the issues in the world, but he's a good basketball player that could help this team immediately.

Completely agree. If we sign D.West we cannot get any worse that now. Morris is young with upside, but this team cannot wait on that. Have to win NOW. Although i predict Johnson-Odom will be waived.

Delonte West would be nice, also another name to throw out is Chris Douglas-Roberts for backup 3. Even though, it's just D-league, he is playing well and shooting good %. I just think he has more to offer than what Ebanks/Clark has shown so far into the season.

Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine

Sense I get is that D-West, widely regarded as top available PG, is at the top of Lakers' list ... but word is they'll indeed look around

Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine

No firm decisions made yet but Lakers, I'm told, ARE weighing pros and cons of creating roster spot to sign Delonte West to ease PG crisis

Lakers' top PG trade target, of course, has long been Pau's pal Jose Calderon. But Raps, to this point, want to attach Jose to a bigger deal

I expect Mitch to rob the raptors of Jose Calderon. BC is a dumb gm, Mitch loves those

I agree, Calderon is nice (and given what we have, if there was nothing else out there, I'd be more than willing to give it a go), but I want a point guard that'll give us a bit of a different look than Nash. That and we desperately need perimeter defense. Roll the dice on Delonte.

Gilbert Arenas and Allen Iverson still available

Nash
Kobe
Artest
Gasol
Dwight

Iverson
Arenas
Jamison

I swear I had a similar roster in NBA 2k6.
