Neither is insulting a poster as a mod, saying I have never had a good post.

Yes, I came off as combative , but I meant it tongue in cheek... Doesn't always come through that way, but you used to come off that way to way back when, didn't you?

It's a deal, but you guys need to more proactive and neutral in how you police this place.

Yes , I do come across as aggressive. I don't always mean to.

Any win would be great but blowing them out would be something special.

Quick Kick wrote:this gonna be a blowout on national TV. LA is demoralized and searching for answers. Your rotations have to be crisp if you plan to slow down our three point barrage, and we all know Asstoni only practices D for half an hour. Plus Ty OWNS D12 in the paint.

Asstoni will probably jizz himself watching Novak rain down threes all night.

lakers are a horrible matchup against us

Just entered the thread, hope no one quoted that yet!

Well I don't think name-calling was ever acceptable here.

But now that we got this out of the way, let's get back to the Knicks/Lakers game analysis.

Vs an emotionally (Please Use More Appropriate Word) big man with knee problems who at the very least we had under contract, with bad knees, yes... Much easier to fix than a back, btw."

Tell me how this makes sense.

Thank you for pointing out this irony. I was long asleep by then. Interesting last few pages though.

When the Knicks made their run in the first half it had a lot to do with us taking poor shots which would lead to easy baskets for the Knicks. Outside of Kobe, everyone was just horrible in the 1st half. Nobody could hit a shot to save their damn life.

Sadly (and I think the commentators hinted at this last night), I don't think Kobe's back can handle many posts ups.

Props for going to a game at MSG though haha. At least when I go in Philly it's a 50/50 split between 76ers fans and Lakers fans.

Yeah, a back is so hard to recover that Dwight is playing averaging 19/12 and 2.5 blocks, and knees are so much easier to recover from that bynum has yet to play a game this season. Great logic! Even Tmac, with chronic back problems, was able to keep playing as a role player. What happened to Greg Oden? Knee problems are easily the most chronic bball injury.

All bandwagon fans. Its amazing how nobody here where I live ever brought up the Knicks and now that they are good everyone is a fan. The moment they go back to being terrible nobody will care for them again.

Only thing I liked about the Knicks fans last night was how I was surrounded by them chanting fire D'Antoni towards the end of the game.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch the last couple games because its the end of the semester and I'm swarmed with papers and exams but last night was the first time I noticed Kobe with what looked like an ice pack on his back. It could just be that I never noticed because they never showed it on TV.

Anyone notice the only reason we got back into the game(other than Melo being out) was Dantoni stopped playing a PG and went with a Meeks and Kobe backcourt in the 4th?

I hope we see more of this lineup instead of Duhon out there, he's the key piece that's killing our team defense each and every night. It's not just staying in front of his man(which he has no shot at), it's the rotations after the fact that let others get easy looks as well as offensive rebounds.

Then on offense someone needs to remind him just because he's open when standing 3+ feet behind the 3 point line, it doesn't mean it's a good shot. He took a couple of those and they were complete bricks.

Lastly I don't think I ever want to hear a Charles + Kerr commentary duo during a Laker game ever again. The game was just a hate fest audibly, with no commentary about the actual game whatsoever outside the occasional "the Lakers have no shot at winning" during their attempted comebacks. Disgusting, but I'm sure all the Laker haters were in heaven.
