Surely we can win this.

I still can't figure out whats wrong with this team. The up tempo offense is resulting in lots of turnovers and fastbreaks so we can blame that, but we have to remember that we sucked even with Mike Brown running the Princeton offense.

I think we are just too old and don't have enough enthusiastic youngsters to bring energy into every single game. We also can't forget our injury list, we have had a horrid run this year. Its not too late to get our season back on track, a few solid wins and we are there.

We're not much of a team and that's the problem. There's little ball movement and communication on defense. Guys are losing focus and not playing hard enough. Going into each game it feels like the Lakers threw a new team together for a pickup game.

I think being old and slow is only a small part of the problem. Old and slow teams have gotten it done in the past. Look at the Mavs and Celtics, for example. Look at us 2 years ago -- we weren't exactly young in 2010. Look at the Spurs.

The team has been poorly managed (from a coaching standpoint) for 3 seasons now so getting out of that rut has proven to be a difficult task. Brown certainly wasn't up to it and I'm not sure that D'Antoni is either.

We're gonna lose this game

A game on the road vs the absolute bottom dweller? The entire team will have a collective IDGAF attitude on this one

We're not making anything higher than a 6th seed

There is going to have to be some point in time where we stop blaming the coach for our losses. We did it to Mike Brown (Although it was valid, his rotations really sucked).

D'Antoni seems like a good coach to me. The players just need to lift and start playing some defense. Considering nothing has really changed from Mike Brown to D'Antoni (we still suck) most of the blame has to go on the players and their chemistry on the court.

People think if Phil Jackson was coaching we would be winning, it really isn't that easy. The coach is an easy scapegoat. I actually like D'Antoni. He says all the right things and knows the game well.

You guys have 14 losses. We have 16 losses.

If you've watched our team, we always lose in the final moments of the 4th quarter. We have a lot of players that hustle and work hard on defense, getting out in transition, and using our bigs to get easier baskets. Our team though is very jump shot heavy and we normally suck with guys playing hero ball. Simply put, you can't question the effort of the Washington Wizards... its there every night, we just aren't good enough to close games.

I think the Wizards will win just based off of athleticism and running the court because the Lakers turn the ball over a ton and your defense just might be the worst in the league. Plus the Lakers are on a back to back after mounting a comeback last night.

Pretty simple, get a win and attempt to figure out what needs to happen for the rest of the season.

Move Pau for better pieces, get Nash back, and do something to shore up your bench.

Kobe though with the back problems from all the minutes played is a big red flag. Somebody needs to step up and help him on a more consistent basis.
Ball so hard.

lol i think the wizards are losing because they have by far the worst offense in the league, not because they keep it close and choke in the 4th. they are such a horribly inefficient scoring team, just look at their players and their scoring efficiency.

i think we can win this game because we dont actually have to play defense against them lol.

then again ariza might drop 40 on us and shoot us out of the building. dont even know anymore.

We need to work inside out all game no matter what the score is... We need to get Dwight more energized and get Kobe and Dwight on the same page as far as where they want to receive passes etc...

Tell Dwight, "It's coming to you every time down the court, be ready big guy." and let him shoulder the responsibility and find his comfort zone. This should have been done in the preseason, but it hasn't and I think one of our biggest problems is a communication breakdown between him and Kobe. I think that's the reason for the large number of turnovers between the 2 of them.

Kobe's been truly great this season but he needs to find a better balance between offense and defense. It's time to let Dwight handle more of the offense and see if he's capable of it, while he focuses on locking down the perimeter.
Shut up and win.
