low key, one of my favorite moments at work is when I get to say, "Let me call my boss, I'm just an employee so I have no authorization to go any further."

I get to say that only when I get people who want to negotiate fees with me or how much they want to pay off their debt but come in with checks that could seemingly easily handle a hit knowing they're in this rut because they used us to "front" themselves the money

Say they owe $4,000 and come with checks that would pay them a total of $6,000-$7,000. My boss will ask me to take nothing lower than $1,000 off 6-7k they're getting to pay off what they owe, but if they make a big deal about it to go with $500. I ignore the last part and always get the number the boss wanted. The trick is to make my boss seem mean and firm in these situations, which always begin with some sort of fraud on the customer's part.

point of my story? stephano

how many people here drop what they're doing and go eat when they're hungry?

ok... now how many of you lag it to get some grub?

i lag it, and it's become a bad habit. i'll eat all late, once my stomach is yelling at me for not feeding it promptly
