I've never been in a book club though, so you guys need to explain how this works. Do we just read a book by chapter and discuss things at regular intervals?

c'mon slava, just like grade school, you get to pick who reads next :uhoh:

funny you say that, i always think that exact same thing. drop some knowledge on us slava, tell us how to pick up these girls. however, please remember i'm not a meat head so i can't flex a pec like ty to get girls. talking is necessary for average joes like me and vince vaughn. we can't all be ben stiller

Well.. I'm a meat head too!

Other than that, I've been in some stressful situations over the past year or so with constant relocation and the lack of time or energy to sustain regular friends, let alone more. My best bets were to meet like minded people like the ones I mentioned and the people who workout at the gym on Friday evenings and weekend mornings.

These are the people who like me have little to no time to spend on personal stuff and are more than likely to cut to the chase without giving you the run around.

I get you, in a no joking tone, i'll admit I don't get out enough. No bs, I consider 80% of the people on here friends (who **** the is 20% right??) and probably my only current ones and thats considering i was mia for a good minute. Between school work and music, I also don't see the time to meet new ppl, much less girls, sadly most of the ones i pick up are the ones i meet at work so imagine what my attempts are like

I've been considering joining the gym as ive been running a mile daily for about 3 months and am up to running a 3 mile in a little over 21 mins, which is still **** but closer to my decent runs back in cross country in high school. I like the idea of those cycling classes, have you taken one of those? I like the idea of hitting the gym in the evenings after walking my dog, so like 9-ish. But back to your post, I must also seek people with little time, makes perfect sense.

can i also be added to the book club???

I'm just about to start reading some of Plato's works on a recommendation from my old english professor, so i'm definitely free to add a book soon. I'm a big history nerd so I mostly just read books on history so it'd be awesome to get recommendations from people that read other types of books.

I've never taken those spin classes if that's what you are mentioning but I go to the gym with the workout in mind and if I ever meet someone, its just additional. I actually get pissed if I have to take off my ear plugs to talk to someone while I'm working out.

I don't work with them, they're customers. I don't mind sayin my game is lame, it produces some inadequacies so i'm always up for tips to improve it, no sarcasm there despite the heavy hints of it. At my job it takes me a long time to get the girl, i only try if i'm 100% sure ima get it, otherwise i won't for fear of embarrassment next time they come in, it happened once to me but never again lol

other than that one fail, the other 4-5 have resulted in runs, albeit not home runs but runs 8-)

however, considering i've been working at my job since last fall 4/5 or 5/6 is still pretty pathetic, I just try when I know i'll win. I need to step up my confidence as part of me tells me more of these girls do look at me, but then i wonder maybe i just like the taste of my own dick as much as the next guy who puffs himself up.

but anyways back to our chat, so stephano i remember once as a child I got a golden reindeer in a letter from "Santa", till this day I don't know who sent me that letter, as my parents still deny it. Then again my parents love me so much they still tell me i came on purpose and not by accident so maybe it's just a family conspiracy but you're right, there are many ways to raise a kid. i just hope someday i can be a great father too.

i should also say, i've definitely lost the interest of some girls cuz i wait so long. its just hard for me to approach girls while im working so i build up a rapport and go from there. like i said i got a high success rate but only when attempting, if you counted the missed attempts i'm probably closer to 5/100, if not more :o
