Sources indicate that the Lakers are currently in negotiations with tugs for a one year deal. Both parties are at a standstill.

Dammit tugs settle for the vets minimum.

You can be a student for life or you can be a student of life. Just enter the real world after you graduate gek. You're smart, you'll figure out how to make money.

Do what you love and make sure you are getting paid what you are worth. Money follows good work.

this bro. from experience I agree 100%. doing something you don't love makes it stressful, unproductive, and unhealthy. if you love what you're doing, working's just like you're breathing.

also don't be afraid to explore. you can even jump backgrounds/career paths (highly doubt that since I know you're into this med, science, bioengineering whatever this is thing). things you should consider though:

- is this worth my n years of studying?
- I'm happy now but how about in the long run?
- etc. (I'm in a rush to catch the bus so to be continued if ever :P )

going back, you're still young so don't be afraid to explore and do things even if initially you think it's stupid or nonsense. you don't want any regrets later on.

and also you don't want/need regrets. whatever decisions you make, stick with it. there's no turning back so be wary of the consequences of whatever you decide on. there may be easier paths on wherever you want to go and one wrong turn could be a road block but don't stop. start your road there and keep pushing till you reach your finish line.

Watched it on tv or something the other day and I liked it. I think I'm a Kevin Spacey fan.

Speaking of movies, really liked "The Last Stand"
Wife who hates action movies really dug it too.

It's corny... But purposefully so, in a funny way.
Just give me back the board, Lance. It was a good board, and I like it.

I heard it's good too. Like a typical 80's action movie, in terms of the campy-ness. I love Arnold, so I'll probably like it.

I saw seven psychopaths yesterday, directed by Martin Mcdonagh (In Bruges), starring Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, Colin Ferral and Woody Harrelson. Overall, not as good as In Bruges, but still very enjoyable. Sam Rockwell of Moon fame was excellent in it.

Both In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths are very similar to previous Guy Ritchie efforts, so I would recommend them to to comm thread-ers.

one of my favorite things about this comm thread is the amount of wisdom I have access to. It's really cool hearing from guys who've walked this part of life before and can share some insight as to what they learned along the way.

Scent of a woman is one of the best movies I've seen in awhile.

I saw Pacino's monologue countless number of times without watching the whole movie and kind of thought it would be pointless to watch a movie having almost memorized the best scene.
