I think the 7th seed is within reach too....there are 6 teams who I think we cannot catch at this point(LAC,SAS,OKC,MEM,GSW,DEN)

That being said, even if we do get in position for that 7th seed,if the Clippers finish 1st and OKC 2nd in the standings,I'd rather tank and get the 8 seed to avoid OKC in the first round

Woohoo! Dallas beats Houston!

I'm crazy for thinking this but I don't think catching GS is totally out of the question. They'll have a bad run at some point and I expect us to have 13-2 run or 17-3 run in us before the season ends. Assuming we can get and stay healthy..

If we win tomorrow I'll start to become a believer. We just need that one huge run of wins!

I'm inclined to agree, Memphis and Golden State will start to lose here and there and with Miami on the second nite of ab2b. I think if we win in a convincing fashion, I think it will give us enough momentum to get us on a run. I think we can round off 12-14 wins

The Wolves will probably lose to the Clips tonight so we'll gain some ground there. Does anyone know our tiebreaker status with Minnesota, Denver, Utah, Houston, and Portland?

This tread should be called The Suns wait for the Lakers lottery pick. Why did we not top 14 protect it. Nash is 39, not worth a top pick to give up.

I think the Warriors, Jazz, Rockets, Trail Blazers and Timberwolves will start to lose more and more games.

Warriors- Curry is out
Jazz- I don't know how to read this team, but I don't see them beating us out for a post season spot
Rockets- Harden is the loan star on this team
Trail Blazers- this team doesn't have enough legs to stay in the playoff hunt
Timberwolves- Pekovic, Love, Budinger and Roy are all out. no front line at all the Ls are already adding up

I wonder can we get the 6th seed

Raptors Sunday - need to capitalize on D12

Really, this offense shouldn't be much different than Seven Seconds or Shaq ...

If the Lakers keep playing like they have they should be able to win the next four games.

About a week ago, LA was 5 games back in the loss column from the 8th seed. Prior to the Miami game, LA was 2 games behind the 7th and 8th seed. Currently there behind 3 games.

I'm calling it a season, I can't sit here and watch this crap anymore. I've had my heart broken this season by the one team that I love so much. The play has been horrid to put it in a nice way.... I'm sick of looking at the boxscores and seeing games from Bryant like his of today 10-32 from the floor and 3-12 from downtown. I can't believe I'm about to say this but Gasol should've taken half od the shots Bryant missed today. He's the reason we lost this one and the last one with his poor shooting, stop shooting you ass and pass the ball

Crazy how the Lakers are "only" 3 games behind for that 8th seed, but it seems to be much more than that simply because the Lakers just can't string together any wins and consistency.

I hate to say this, but with CHI, MEM, UTA, and OKC in the next 4 games, and expecting all of those games as losses, the Lakers could very well be 17-27 after next Sunday :nonono:
