We have to completely own the boards, limit turnovers, and limit second chance points to have any chance of winning the game.

The Lakers will have a tough time but if Dwight can own the lane the Lakers have good chance imho...

Its funny how most of us are not happy that Gasol is coming back for this game.

Can someone poison Lebron's pregame meal?

Earl Clark missed Wednesday's practice because of intestinal flu symptoms. His availability for Thursday's game was unclear

Lakers favored by -2.5 as of right now. Should be a good game.

Why not put Kobe on Lebron. Let's do it and see what happens. Let's see how Lebron will respond.

Turnovers are going to be a huge issue for us Thursday night. Miami is great at causing turnovers so we absolutely must protect the ball or it's going to be a very very long night.

I was very impressed with how Miami smothered the Warriors Wednesday night. If they can do the same to us we have no shot!

It absolutely would be funny if it wasn't so sad. We're paying 19 mil to a guy that's afraid to play ball! We don't need Pau to be great to have a very good team. We just need him to be average but what we have is a player that's a huge net negative every time he steps onto the court. Other teams go out of their way to go at Pau and punk Pau because the guy has lost his balls.

Yep, if you watched the Golden State/Miami game, the Heat demonstrated that any turnover is an automatic bucket for them. And the Heat's stellar perimeter defense creates turnovers by pressuring the ball...and with Wade and Lebron's quickness they can easily get steals by filling in the passing lanes.

Nash is a true PG and can neutralize the defense to an extent, but you have to keep the ball moving by good off the ball movement and smart passes. This is obviously more imperative when Nash and Kobe are on the bench.

Dunno if serious. You realized that we are talking about 34 year old Kobe here guarding the best player of the game today. Stronger and faster. Prime Kobe can guard LeBron. Not this version of Kobe though. No one can guard LeBron one on one. We need to play good TEAM defense against him. I'm not worried about LeBron getting his. Let's just shut down everyone else.

Limit the turnovers, transition defense, crash the boards.

If we lose this game I'm blaming Mirjalovic for signing up for the GT and not letting eablinksum continue his perfect record

I swear some of the comments I've saw here is ridiculous, never seen so many cowardly comments about losing. This Heat team may be the defending champs but they don't strike that kind of fear in me.

Like a few have said already, control the board's and not turning the ball over is the key to winning.I get having doubt about games sometimes but to act like it's impossiable to win is ludicrous. We've really only been whipped good only a few times. But this game is winnable.....Lakers don't have much of a choice anyway, they better win.
