One thing we need to do tonight is keep our transition 3s and 3s early in the shot clock down. Metta and Kobe love taking random 3s and those are going to be huge momentum killers if we miss.

I think Nash will have a comeback game in terms of shooting.

Like a few have said already, control the board's and not turning the ball over is the key to winning.I get having doubt about games sometimes but to act like it's impossiable to win is ludicrous. We've really only been whipped good only a few times. But this game is winnable.....Lakers don't have much of a choice anyway, they better win.

AMEN Deep...said exactly the same things a few days ago on the playoff odds (I think) thread
We shouldn't mark this game as a L already, hell,I'd be dissapointed if we lose

There soft in the interior. We control the boards and pound the ball down in the paint we should be ok. Also keep the turnovers as low as possible to prevent fast break layups. Metta will draw the assignment on Lebron with a little of Earl Clark at times. Kobe will check Wade. I'm looking forward to Earl Clark defending Bosh on the pick n pop. Earl is really good at recovering and challenging shots. When Dwight was in Orlando he would have a field day in the paint against these guys. Their so weak in the interior we have to exploit that. Get Bosh in foul trouble also

This is a team we need to control the pace with.... We cannot try to run on the Heat, they're too good in transition. And they're built better for it... It totally defeats the few advantages we have.
We need to pound the post, play solid D and try to slow LeBron... If we do that, we have a shot.

If we try to get up and down, they're going to blow us out.

Dwight better destroy Bosh in this one. If we'll take care of the ball and don't let them snatch easy offensive boards we should win. Kobe destroyed Wade last time and got him into foul trouble so let's repeat that. I trust MWP defending LeBron.

Clark is playing? If not I hope Pau will play at least like Earl the last couple of games. Hustling, rebounding and all those little things.

Go Lakers!

A win against a team like this could be the real spark to get the season turned around. I consider it a must win to get that momentum really going because if we don't reach 500 by the next week or two we can kiss the playoffs goodbye.

don't get your hopes up guys. the key here is to come in with low expectations. the lakers have disappointed me with so many flops in these types of games i just can't see us winning this one.

Man **** that. Haha, I'm trying to see a win here. Lakers are playing with desperation and a sense of urgency. They'll meet the challenge. It depends on which Dwight Howard we see tonight.

Lol @ Doc....I'm not saying you can't have doubt but at least explain why you'd think they''ll lose
Going into this game and given how the team has slightly changed it's defensive approach, it gives slight hope to a win rather than a loss.

As long as Pau's slow ass is on the bench and not getting punk'd by the likes of Undonis Haslem or Rashard Lewis I'm happy with that.

Keys to the game:
Limit turnovers
Play hard transition defense
Limit opponent 3 pointers
Secure boards
Points in the paint

GO LAKERS!!!!
