OKC fan, came here to compliment you guys.

Kobe played his best game I have seen in years.

I might offer my opinion on just why this is the case, but I look two posts up this thread, and wow...

Just wow...

Learn to admit when you are wrong.

Kobe still has greatness in him, he just needs to channel it the proper way.

I thought Kobe game vs OKC last season was just as better, when the famous Peace elbow to Harden grill. Kobe was on fire shooting the ball in that game.

Yeah, might've been, but all the extracurricular drama tended to overshadow everything else about that game!

Kobe is Shang Thung. He can channel Magic or Mike. But he can't channel both at the same time.

I personally want to see Kobe try to get a new career high in assists and rebounds.

I want to see some crazy career highs from Mamba.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

I don't feel for kobe. Im thinking ''what would have happened if he looked to facilitate from the beginning of the season. Unless he was instructed to take as many shots as he could, i believe lakers would have been much better. I still think the lakers can string together a big streak to get them in playoff position.

No one can channel mike and magic abilities at the same time. Lebron would be closest, but hes mostly a magic johnson on roids.

this has been my gripe since the get go. This team does not need kobe to score 27 ppg, especially when he is not efficient. The team is betterr served when others get involved also. He can dominate the game in other ways and we are seeing that now.

Given how much we run the offense through him and the decisions he has to make, the bulk of blame has to fall on him if he is NOT making the game easier for others. Having said this, the last 2 games he has been brilliant overall and the turnaround we have seen in our Lakers is all because of how he has chosen to play. He has that kind of ability, but he's known scoring as the preferred way to impact the game.

If he truly commits to this as he's said, we give ourselves a legit chance to make a run at a playoff spot. One can only hope.

Lebron on roids is accuarate, but not close to Magic.

Kobe was brilliant today, he carried the Lakers with his brilliant passing, clutch shots and defense..

"Kobe Johnson"

Post#130 » by GeneralNash » Mon Jan 28, 2013 5:55 am

Who is this Kobe Johnson character the Lakers acquired and how long will he be playing with the team? On one hand he has the gracefulness of Jordan with the perfect jumpshot, and on the other hand he has the passing skills of Magic Johnson...and as a bonus he has the footwork of Kobe Bryant. Who is Kobe Johnson????

He is a guy being the bigger man and sacrificing his greatest strength because his teammates won't adapt their game to him. He wants #6 pretty bad.

How about the defense? Held Westbrook to 6-22 shooting.

Kobe is no doubt one of the most talented but selfish players the NBA and the world has ever seen... Talented but selfish. I see the irony of him assisting and calling him selfish.. But watch him be a hog again.

The level of stupidity on the GB never ceases to amaze me

Yup,Kobe wanted to pass Jordan in 2 games, rather than 5,10,100

It was a complete joy to watch Kobe play like he did today. Granted Westbrook just shoots waaaaaaay to much. I'm surprised KD didn't choke him yet. Jeeez

But man...I don't remember the last time I thoroughly enjoyed watching Kobe play the way he played today.

This dude is flatout scary now, we know about his scoring already. Kobe is really great during his 17th season he changes his game showing us that he can be a better passer than he is at scoring. This is the type of Kobe that no teams want to face in the playoffs. They couldn't handle him, he's damn near unstoppable when he plays like this.

Big O 2.0

that's my name for him yep
