The Rockets play the Blazers on Friday. Either way, we'll be gaining/losing some ground. Hopefully Houston loses though.

HOU, POR & MIN loss. UTAH & DAL won. We're now only 3 games outside the 8th seed. We need to win tomorrow against Boston. Standings updated.

5 more games until the all star break. This team could be 2 games over .500 if they win the next five...just sayin :o

Our next few games should tell a lot. Facing some tough teams like Boston, Miami, and the Clippers. Portland and Dallas are important games also because they're also fighting for that 8th seed.

If we could pull out a good record in the month of February, we should be in the driver seat for the playoffs. If not, we don't deserve it.

How likely is it for the Grizzlies to collapse?

I think they'll fall off but probably not to the point where they miss the playoffs. I'm guessing like 6-7 seed.

So pissed we **** the game against Phoenix :( ..could've used that one

That being said,I'd be ecstatic if we go 3-2 in the next 5 games before the ASB(@ Boston,@ Charlotte,@ Miami,vs Phoenix,vs OKC)

I'd take a 27-29 record before the break considering all the circumstances.....we'd get through the longest road trip of the season, get some rest in those eays off,and hopefully make a run for the playoffs in the last stretch

Utah are on a roll, they are looking more and more secure of that 7th spot,so 8th place is probably the best we can get...the Clippers lost some steam,so we'll probably see OKC or the Spurs in the first round

I'd prefer the Spurs

It's such a long road trip. It's just a crazy season, with Pau starting to be effective and now he gets injured again. All these hurdles are just adding up. And with Kobe going back to his old scoring ways I fear this team is going backwards. Dwight's defense is horrendous probably because of injury. I don't know. I know Nash and Kobe want it, but I don't think Dwight is really all in. Starting to look like Dwight almost wants this team to fail so he can move on. It's almost as if Dwight is sabotaging the team when he is out there.

Houston versus Portland today. One team will surely lose. That's good for us. But man, if we lose to the freaking Bobcats. If Dwight doesn't wanna play, sit his ass down. I don't care if we're playing our scrubs. I just want everybody giving their 100% effort.

3.5 games back, this 10th spot is not a comfortable feeling. I was thinking that we would be good by the middle of last month and be in the seventh or sixth seed by now. So yeah I'm very pissed but this is still my team and I'll stand by them forever. Gasol going down was the worst tho, as if it wasn't bad enough when we lost Hill. I want that damn 8th seed. I know we can upset the Spurs and face off against the Nuggets or Grizzlies in the second and hopefully that Clippers can get rid of the Thunder and we can have a WCF of LAL vs. LAC. I feel if we can get that far then the title is ours. I WANT THAT 8TH SEED DAMNIT

We gained some ground today w lot of key teams losing today and us winning.

Earl Clark averaging almost Bynum-like numbers double double teen points and 10+ boards each time.

I'm beginning to think what the hell Orlando was thinking packaging Clark with Dwight like that.

We almost finished our longest road trip of the season ...I'm expecting a loss to Miami but overall I'm pretty happy with the record

Houston plays 9 of their next 12 games on the road, including a stretch of games against Golden State,Clippers,Brooklyn(on the road) and OKC at home

Hopefully,we can catch up in the standings before the end of the month

We're also going to play the Blazers soon. I think we'll catch up to them by then but it's still a must win game.

At this point,we shouldn't even mention Denver and Minny...it's clear one will make it and one won't

Hou,Utah,Dal,Port and us....5 teams,2 playoff spots
