That dude gossips more than a women, it's funny as hell to me because the boy seems so damn gullible. Anybody believing half of this BS needs to be slapped. Further more if the Nest want Howard they better get started on shedding about $28 mil, cause that's the only way they're getting him.

Trade Nash and Ron Artest (Exp next year) for some big time bench player, Lakers are set for the next 2 years.

set for...?

Lin doesn't like the lime light. That is why he was okay with leaving the New York Knicks. Even Stephen A. Smith stated this.

Mitch was just on CowTURD show and says there is no way he is trading Dwight, he was pretty demonstrative in saying that Dwight is the future.

Beto Duran @DuranSports

Dwight Howard if he sees himself with Lakers in future “only thing matters is right now. Nobody can control what happens this offseason”

I mean, I get that he has to remain non-committal to a certain extent just due to the nature of the negotiations... Although, from what I've seen in the past, the Lakers are pretty fair/trustworthy/generous with their stars...
But Dwight's responses are almost confrontational in their ambiguity.
"We'll handle that after the season." Is that so hard?

oh chad ford

http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/chat/_/id/47144

Question: "Given that Kobe and Howard do not like eachother, Why do not the Lakers trade Kobe and keep the younger Howard and build for the future. The could still get a lot for Kobe even though he is 34."

Chad Ford (1:41 PM): One, Kobe has a no trade clause, so they can't just ship him anywhere. Two, Kobe is very popular in LA. Dwight is not. It would be a very hard sell to fans. However, with that said, I've heard rumblings that if Howard told Laker officials this summer that the only way he'd stay in LA is if Kobe leaves, the Lakers could end up choosing Howard over Kobe. It's an unlikely scenario, but one worth watching.

im so tempted to start a thread on the GB:

"Chad Ford: Rumblings Lakers would trade Kobe if D12 asked for it"

I know we all joke about "If X happens, I'll stop being a fan of the Lakers."
And I'm not the biggest Kobe fan in the world...
But we've stuck with Kobe this long, and the end of his career is right there... And Dwight has done nothing for LA so far...
The Lakers pushing Kobe out for Dwight would make it extremely difficult to continue to support the team.
Shut up and win.

this is the the type of stuff d12 should be saying all the time, not "nobody controls what happens in the off-season"

Mike Bresnahan @Mike_Bresnahan

Does Dwight see himself as part of Lakers' future? "Yeah, I do. That's what we've always talked about since the first day I got here."

still tempted to start that chad for thread for kicks

Even if they wanted to push him out how would they do it?.I can't think of a team he would waive his no trade clause for and they aren't going to waive him.
