Boston really is. Barbosa could have helped this Lakers team prior to his injury also. It's not like any of these guys require a substantial investment either. Management can't even sign someone to a 10 day just to see if it works out?

Wouldn't look too deep into these PR quotes. Remember "We support Mike Brown."

We expect to swoop on players that have been cut as the result of other trades.
We're looking for serviceable vets.
I still wouldn't rule out a trade though. Just not for Dwight or Pau.

There's rumors that we might offload Blake for Augustin or Gibson, both of which I don't like. Blake is a much better defender and has been pretty reliable with the 2nd unit ever since he returned from injury. Its hard to get a back PG of that caliber easily in Feb!

I'd like to see some smaller deals like Devin Ebanks for Jordan Crawford.

Lakers need to do something or the other. I don't think there are any blockbuster deals out there for us unless it involves moving Dwight. I wonder what we could get for Clark, even though I know he's valuable to us and I don't want to trade him unless it's for a superstar or something.
