get abreva. also once you get one cold sore, you're going to inevitably get another. at the first sign of tingle, abreva can help.
(got a cold sore after kissing a girl in high school and about once a winter I feel one coming on and Abreva prevents them pretty well).

one of the best parts about hard majors is that you get to occasionally spend a weekend doing hw instead of having fun.
