The Lakers did a good job of setting themselves up for plan B, and they did a pretty awful job convincing anyone around the league that they were going with plan A, but apparently they did well enough to convince some Lakers fans.

Considering a thread just proposing the possibility was locked I wouldn't expect anything other than denial of their intent from their fans. It's what they want. It's what the Warriors wanted from their "real fans" fans for years.

You might as well just own it. It's not like you won't 4 years from now when everyone is complaining how badly the Lakers tanked and you are laughing your way into the playoffs.

is there a purpose for your existence?

She sounds like a EX girlfriend who is bitter!!

I've always wondered why GSW fans have so much hatred towards the lakers? Its not like Lakers have met them in the playoffs and ended their slim glimmer of success like we have over the years to Utah, Hou, Den, pretty much just about every single Western conference team

You realize that this is the Lakers forum, right? We didn't lock your original thread....

And many on this forum have argued for and actively rooted for the tank nearly the entire season, so...I guess thanks for the support?

Good luck in the playoffs this season with the Warriors. Curry/Klay/Lee/Bogut helped me win a lot of money in my fantasy league.

Bitter fans have always been butt hurt about our Org. but this guy sounds like an ex that chases you around in your car while you're on a date with another girl. I guess he's blaming our mods about a thread that was locked a while back. I blame DOC for this!! Oh and Jim Buss!!

Holy crap. Boston is tied with Orlando for the 3rd worst record. I knew the 1st and 2nd worst records were a lock but I thought Orlando's struggles were enough to have the third worst record locked up too. Its crazy to think we had a worse record than Boston and Utah and with a blink of an eye they passed us up.

I like Exum but I'd take Wiggins, Parker, and Embiid before him.

Today will be the deciding day regarding Orl and Bos...we have a 5% of surpassing either one but today's game could improve those chances or trim them down to 0%

Bost play Cha and Orl play Was....both at home

Boston is full-on, no holds barred, tanking... If they win another game, heads will roll...

Which is why Lakers fans hate Boston so much... At least the ones old enough to remember the original rivalry...
Boston will try to win at all costs... They have that element in their DNA that the Lakers don't really seem to have that will allow them to do just about anything to achieve their goal. Bird's teams had it, so did Doc's teams... But so does the Org, and this season proves it... To loose this much in the east, you have to be trying.

Rumor has it the only teams he would work out for are LA and Orlando. If Parker doesn't declare and both Kansas freshmen are off the board then I could see Orlando selecting him.

I don't think Orlando is possible. We blew it by winning the game against them already. We need to set our eyes on Utah. The biggest game left of the year is the one against them, that is a MUST LOSE.

Jazz fan here.

I admire your tank. Utah started 0-11....tried hard and won some games.

Utah will out tank your tank.

I hope nobody loses draft picks due to missing shots on purpose.

Probably the game in which most fans will want the other team to win

For both teams it could mean the difference between 4th and 6th worst records...doesn't seem much, but it's a huge difference, even if the team who finishes 4th doesn't advance in the lottery

Wiggins/Embiid/Parker/Exum are a notch over the others IMO
