I really hope we can keep Wes here for awhile (of course at the right price) There's still so much untapped potential there

I think what we see out of Wes is what we gona get, its not getting any better. Guys athletic but after all these years in the league he still hasn't worked on his weakness, dribbling and getting his own shot off. I'd take him back but at vet min again, guy is just your semi decent bench guy who'll give you one of those big nights once every 5 games or so.

That would be an amazing opertunity for a rookie. Learn from a VERY hungry legend.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Kobe will mentor Exum. Same body type same height. Very teachable kid from what I've seen.

If you read the stories Gordon studies and trains a lot like Kobe. I think Kobe could make him into a great.

Never gonna happen, Slava.

In other news I just hope he can stay on the floor next season, let alone dominate.

The only thing Kobe will dominate over the next two seasons is the Laker salary cap. $23.5 mm followed by $25 more in 2015/2016? Why would the Knicks or any team trade for a 36 yr old man coming off two major injuries that makes that kind of dough? And max free agents want to go where they can win and play with other superstars. Kobe's superstar days are gone. It sucks but it's true! Pray for a top 3 pick...
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

He needs to switch to the PF spot while gaining weight. His standing reach and wingspan allows the team to go small but his 215 weight was the problem in small-ball lineups last year.

Nope no break in the thread needed to grab someone's attention thanks. Just factoring in age and wear and tear. He came back way to fast out of pride. I hope he takes it a little easier this go around but knowing he's a motivated psycho that's not going happen. Good luck to him though theirs no one in the league to root against if he's not playing.

I'd admit the odds are against him... But I've just learned to not doubt this guy, but father time is a beast. We'll see next season

That would be quite a drop off wouldn't it?

BTW, isn't that pretty much exactly what Wade averaged in the finals?

Yeah he threw up some irrelevant number something or other. I'm guessing Kobe will be avg low 20s to mid teens but I'm going have to see what form he's in for preseason.

You guys are nuts if you think Kobe is going to average less than 20 points a game.
Sometimes being wrong is awesome!!! :D

I like that Kobe stated he's only planning on playing two more seasons. That should let the FA's know that they can take over a huge market if they hop on now.
