I'm sorry but Nash isn't starting. At least he better not. we need to save him for the playoffs.

Lin should be the starting Lin/Marshall/Nash/Clarkson < might even put Clarkson in 2nd spot

Yeah I agree. Health is the biggest issue. Lin would likely be the starting pointing guard, as the bulk of the minutes should go to him and Clarkson.

With limited cap space left I currently see this as the Lakers new roster, with Clarkson's great summer league play I see the Lakers waiving Marshall.

Wondering why we're not hearing more about Wes Johnson at all. Wouldn't mind having him back, but I hope he's improved his shooting this summer. We're gonna need it.

IDK...we can't possibly suck enough to get top 5 pick...can we? Our best hope is we narrowly miss the playoffs and still manage to win the lottery. I do think most of the bottom of the barrel teams will have improved slightly.

Our center slot is the hardest to predict, I think we still need to pick someone up. I like hill and Sacre, but hill can't stay on the floor and Sacre isn't ready yet.

All that seems left to fill is the starting SF I think it's between Turner who brings scoring if he gets the PT, Marion who brings defense and a vet presence and Aminu who brings really good defense. I really don't know whose the best option.

Turner brings the best mix of traits as a 3 to the table. His corner 3 is passable, he's a better on ball defender than off ball, and he can attack in a number of different ways. He'd be a very big addition. I'd bring him off the bench next to Clarkson with Turner facilitating the offense.

No Nash/Marshall defensive liabilities out there.

The key word here is "catching". That is something Wes clearly struggles with: catching the ball.

The other potential option for L.A. is to simply go without a true PG when Kobe is on the floor with Clarkson playing next to him.

Whose Mbakwe and Brooks if your talking about Trevor Mbakwe I think he's signed with an Italian team. And Clarkson won't be starting guys it'll either be Lin or Nash. You guys shouldn't put to much stock into the summer league he needs time to develop.

There is no reason to start Nash over Lin. Nash role should be mentoring Lin. Like someone already pointed out, Nash service is needed if Lakers get into the playoff.
