I think the delusional stuff started as an offhand remark, but then came to describe the tone that people were using, more so than the actual points that were being made.

Moving forward: let's see that we all do agree that the team must acquire and develop assets and even amass contracts to nab one of these elite players, either through a trade or FA.

Our top flight choices are mostly a year or two or three seasons away...so what is the best thing we can do to dust off the old throne in the meantime?

Just to clarify because it keeps coming up... "Delusional" was used as an adjective along with "self-importance"... Not in reference to 'Delusional Lakers fans' or 'delusional trades' or whatever...

They were used together, in reference to everyone who turned this thread, which is supposed to be about Kevin Love, into the long-winded, ego-driven, farce that it's become.

I honestly see no reason for this thread to continue.

There have been some bright spots... John Black chief among them... And I commend Crazy for trying to find value going forward, but at this point I think it needs a compassionate bullet.
