Yes the way it functions and works is patented.

Slava wrote:Did you do the patent or are you the suit stealing some poor Vietnamese person's ingenuity?

Our company has the mechanism patented in the US; it's now in the national phase being protected in a list of countries world-wide. And yes we're poor Vietnamese people too.

rake in those sweet licensing fees.

if you wanted to hit something like all the g20 countries - do you know how many patent filings you'd have to complete off hand (just a rough estimate - 5 vs 20, do certain countries use the same database of patents, etc...)?

One of our patented technology just went available on the market. You can official order it here.

OT

On my way to work, there was this tricycle (google it) in front of me with two women and a baby. The one lady was facing me and was wearing a low cropped shirt, showing her parts. I was really distracted while driving. Then the baby's head tilted towards her, thought the baby was about to fall. To my surprise, HELLO! Took out one boob and started feeding the baby.

Really awkward cause I know she knows I can see her and is aware I saw hers. Was looking away and trying not to hit the tricycle. Smh.

We had a choice of countries to choose from. We picked the countries that we saw were relevant and where we wanted to market and went from there.

Most countries that I saw had their own database of patents, written in their own languages. For example, our patent attorneys were asking us about similar patents from Brazil that came up. It was all in Spanish or Portuguese but we saw the pictures and had to explain the difference between the existing patent and our patent.

So how much are those earrings running for Sofa? Since you said that they're not diamond.

Thank you :). That was a great response and what I was looking for!

Also - I'm sure you have it covered, but if any other system is similar to the US patent system - don't trust the pictures! It's all about the claims.

/edit spelling - right hand was on the wrong set of keys for a few words....
