12 - 16 PPG / 6-8 RPG

A bunch of highlight reals. A couple game winners.

ROY

Just being honest.

Healthy and 14pg 7rpg would be great.

I honestly think the lakers got a steal w randle at 7.
He's my early favorite for ROY. I would think Parker just cuz he's the supposed "guy" in Milwaukee, but I think Giannis will be the best on that team plus he'll have Mayo jackin up 15-20 shots a game.

Randle also has that F you attitude a leader usually needs, especially a big man.

Here's my logic, everyone was skeptical of Andre Drummond when he was drafted but I always thought he'd be a better pro than college player. If you watched his high school film he was up and down the floor, more freedom than there is in college. Same thing as Randle, he didn't show it at Kentucky but his jumper is already better than Blake griffins, and he can play point forward. Sorry for the overused comparison but he looked like Lebron the way he uses his body to create space.

I think there's a lot to be desired there but offensively the kid has the whole package for a point forward.

No reason why by his 3rd yr he should average 20 and 10 IMO

I can see that, along with him turning and starting his own fast break a few times a game. I think you gotta start him Idc if they signed boozer

12ppg and 7rpg for his rookie year.

i think he will improve every year, and be a building block for the franchise moving forward. no reason he can't be the 2nd or 3rd option on a title team. he has what it takes.

love the fact he can rebound the ball and go coast to coast for a dunk. an absolute bulldog in the paint, he's going to get a lot of guys into foul trouble. we got lucky at the 7th pick.

I'm actually concerned he didn't rebound the ball at all during the summer league. Hope it's not a sign of things to come!

I think he'll be alright, idk about 10 a game but 7 seems about right. Especially if he sees time at sf

12/7 on higher usage/mediocre efficiency. He's quick/fast/strong but an under the rim type big. They usually take a year or two to adjust to the NBA game.

Seems like the fact he is only 19 6'9 250 with the body control of a guard is really under advertised. I think is going to prove to be a lot more versatile than the average fan anticipates.

Backup to Boozer & Kelly. Strength won't translate to this level & his short stature will hurt him. Traded before he enters his prime.

I don't think 12/8 would be too much to expect from the rookie. I don't think he's going to be the focal point on offense, but he should get a fair amount of opportunities. As for the defensive concerns, it's like you said, Julia is a man. He's going to physically punish his man on offense, which should wear them down on the other end as well.

Lamar Odom the first 2 years, then Chris Webber from year 3 going forward

I'm hoping 17 and 10. That would be huge.

Sounds like Terrence Jones with less range but more toughness. Probably scores mainly in opportunistic situations like cuts and offensive rebounds in his first year. Need to work on D to get PT. 12/7?

If Randle could scratch out 10min a game as a rookie, and make a significant contribution with those minutes, I'd consider season 1 an overwhelming success for him.

He's nothing like T Jones.

I must admit I've never watched Randle play, just read about him and there are quite a few similarities: can handle the ball well, athletic, good at offensive rebounds, has some range, need to work on D, slightly undersized at the 4 but not really suitable for the 3, a bit like Odom, went to the same program, left quite early etc.

So, how are they so different besides TJones likes to shoot long range more and Randle has more toughness/aggressiveness?

Some interesting stuff I found:

Jones fundamentally avoids contact both in offense and defense, randle kind of thrives on taking contact and finishing plays with it. Randle without a proper nba strength regimen is already a bull like player with his strength, jones looks big but plays small.
