Does JLin start in the all-star game this year? It's all about votes right?

It would be great if Lin and Kobe were selected to start over Harden and CP3/Westbrook.

imagine how much more hate Lakers would get if this happened, I'd imagine the general board would explode and Cp3/Harden would punch babies

I'm pretty sure he will be a good spark plug for the Lakers this year as he was in New York (in spirit if not in numbers.) He's most effective when he has the ball in his hands (as many PG's are), with an older and wiser (?) Kobe I think that will work out fine. It didn't work out with Nash, but Lin is much younger and quicker (and not totally broken down.)

I think his turnovers will go down a bit with Kobe.

I think the Lakers overall could be enjoyable to watch and root for this year. Not in a WCF kind of way, but in a 'underdog surprises' sort of way.

Stumbled across these videos from Mo Williams academy. What do you guys think of these exercises and will that make them better? The last video is a scrimmage. JLin's jumper looks smooth. He finished with 9pts/1reb/1ast in a 33-27 win.

Los Angeles Lakers asked for Jeremy Lin trade advice

http://fansided.com/2014/09/09/los-ange ... de-advice/

Before bringing in Boozer and Lin, the Los Angeles Lakers contacted Byron Scott for his opinion on both players.

"Getting Jeremy Lin and keeping all the flexibility for the next two years I thought was fantastic."

It’s great news for the Lakers as you want your head coach to be a big fan of your key players and its clear Scott thinks highly of both Jeremy Lin and Carlos Boozer.

Poor Lin, it's going to be the second year in a row where he has to come off the bench for a player that isn't as good as him (in this case anymore).

Nash is one of the best PGs ever, having him start out of respect and play a little bit should be no problem. I'm pretty sure he won't be playing full minutes anyways; and being his understudy is really no shame. Concerns should be Nash's health, too much work for him and continuity. If Nash is healthy, I'd imagine him, Lin and Kobe would play quite a bit together, that'd be nice to watch. Nash and Kobe will have their minutes restricted and possibly miss quite a few games; if Lin plays up to his capabilities I'm sure he'll flourish.

Not sure anyone else besides Scott thinks Nash will be able to start for any extended period of time. By 'extended', I mean more than a week...

This offseason I have been working really hard on my defense, footwork, and explosiveness. A huge component that I needed to work on is my core stability (having good posture, being able to stay low in my defensive stance, and being able to stay balanced while absorbing contact). Only 19 days left till training camp...can't wait to get back on the court! #LakersNation #PurpleandGold

Even if Nash is health, I can't imagine he plays more than 15 to 20 mins a game. He is 40 and has been sidelined for almost 2 years.

It's not how you start, it's how you finish. Jeremy is going to finish games, and he'll start sooner or later. The only thing that matters is his being aggressive and getting that confidence and swagger back, despite playing next to players with sticky fingers like kobe and nick young.

Ideally you want j lin to play with quality role players like Wes Johnson, kelly, and hill. Shooters, hustle players, a pick and roll big man, etc.

It's really up to kobe whether he wants to adopt the efficient game that has been widely reported this summer. What that means is he should really play more off the ball as he has during the Olympics and give up the primarily offensive duties to Lin.

It'll make the game a hell of a lot easier for Kobe, if he can swallow how much love Lin will get from fans and the media.

Linsanity was nothing in nyc. It's gonna be crazy this year in LA. Book it.
