Kobe on video playing some 1 on 1 in China

Ever since Kobe suffered the season-ending knee injury back in December of last year, the Los Angeles Lakers star hasn’t been seen on the basketball floor. Although many have said he’s looked good working out, there’s been no footage of him putting in work until now.

Kobe went head-to-head against fans in China this week. Here’s some exclusive footage from Kobe Legends:

Kobe should be capped at 30mpg until the playoffs

Love the elbows and fouls he's giving out there.

Footwork is terrific as usual, he and MJ are the only ones who have that kind of footwork to create clean looks in the post.

yeah that was primarily what i was focusing on when watching the videos. How he's moving, what kind of shape he looks like he's in and also is he dancing out there with the ball in his hand.

i know that is kobe just playing around, but in-game i hope just goes within a second to prevent the ball-stopping nature of his 10 second foot-jabbing iso chess play

That whole format is 1 on 1, so the chess-match and the crowd lend itself into that and-one nonsense

I think Kobe's always been a guy who plays according to his teammates' level of talent

The way he plays with ballers is vastly different to how he plays with trash

it's frustrating that he often does the same thing in game simply because it allows defenses to set and stalls our offense and adds additional pressure on our defense

I hate to be pessimistic but I thought Kobe looked slow, lacked hops & moved gingerly... I know it's early but not a good showing... Airball from 12 feet... Come on Kobe...

Kobe always looks like he's half assing it in these summer camp videos. I don't think you can really gauge where his body is healthwise from these videos.
