Hard to say a game was lost because of one player but 8 turnovers? Damn...

Wes clucked off the game, make two throws and it's over. But nothing to be upset about. Neither team had the guns in the game would've played in a real throw down. Bled and Dragic was out and we're missing some bench help.

Playing with Lin and Kobe would probably help, when Lin gets back to the starting lineup.

there was quite a bit to be improved upon, not just wes's 8 TOs

there were countless times we failed to grab the rebound and let phoenix score on 2nd chance points inc. the game tying bucket

Well dumb touch fouls, and the transition points from the Suns is really what did us in when looking back the end result. Yeah we could have won the game if Wes sinks two, but if we cut out that transition....the defense will be a little bit better.

Actually id say some people still hoping that Wes turns into some decent version of Bruce Bowen are wayyy too optimistic.
This guy is nothing special. He might make a shot here and there and grab a few boards but ...

He makes too many mistakes, he's too inconsistent, he doesnt have a tough hard nosed mental makeup, ****... he cant shoot. There are many guys who can make up for his production. And the sad part is, he's maxed out. I'd rather play a guy with more potential at that position and see what we get. Coach can't lead him anywhere. Wasnt he working out with Kobe over the summer? yet he's still a ligit minimum-salary i-hope-i-dont-get-cut-in-training-camp talent. This Wes we've seen in P&G thus far is all there is to see.

Wish preseason would end tonight. These guys are going to be really tired (especially Kobe) come start of reg. season. They really need to cut down on the number of preseason games imo.

Didn't really care about the result. But I like how the team is coming together. Won't be top 5 worst team like most realgmers are claiming. And Kobe still have it. Lin and Davis are huge steals.

Most definitely. Nick's ability to hit shots from deep plus create for himself will release a lot of pressure off Kobe. And Nick's haters here will just have to suck on that.

Teams are loading up on Kobe for two reasons.....one no one respects the perimeter threats, and the second being teams thinks he's all the offense we have.

But once Nick comes back, Lin get's his legs back and Xavier gets going, we'll create some spacing.

Highlights from Blaiyan (that Golden State Warriors fan in the Bay Area, who also makes Lin highlights in addition to GSW Highlights just because Lin grew up in the Bay, too):

This was a solid game for us.
We played pretty solid defense.
Rotations were pretty good.
Davis is showing hecan protect the rim.
Kobe was clutch. I hope he can stay healthy and fresh. His minutes have to be monitored carefully for him to have lift in his shot near the end of games.
Lin was terrific. I love the way he goes to the rim and also how he gets the bigs involved.

This eam has very little room for error. They have to limit turnovers. The have to be solid on the boards. And I think they have to slow the pace, specially in the first unit.
The bench guys can run a little, but don't expect Kobe and Booz to run up and down all night long.
And they have to be very good on defense and defensive rotations.

I'm not factoring in X. He's been hurt most his nba career, that's all that's ever stopped him. Some guys are just fragile.

But Nick will be useful. You need a guy who has in the gym range and will keep shooting. Some people will say Green played bad, but so what. So what he went 1/10, he took the next one and kept going like he was 10/10, much like Crawford and JR do. That's a needed element. Nick doesn't give a damn about his percentages, he will take a bailout from 27 feet off the wrong foot and fading low percentage, but it has a chance of going in more so than a guy stated of the moment. Nick can handle the Rock, shoot, and draw fouls. At the end of games, you can let Nick take the weakest defender on the opposing team one on one in a clear out as well

looking from the highlights (didnt watch the game) wes johnson can be utilized as a shooter coming from a pin down so that he just catch and shoot, rather than dribbling the ball and turn it over because his iq is so low my grandma can make better plays than him

and kobe lololol 27 pt on 10/20 and people said he's done he's a burden to the lakers etc

bottom line by watching the highlight i thought we looked pretty good, and the team seems like to start coming together as a solid unit.

by the way what happened to randle?? did he got hurt or something??

Johnson could be a 3 and D and dunk guy, that's not too bad.

The Suns are missing Frye (who's replacing him? They only have Plumlee as a legit center!?) but Hornacek seems to be a good coach.
