Amazing combo Ed Davis and Lin, Lin's just gotta cut out some of those careless TOs.

Triple threat Randle? He reminds me of Bosh a little bit now.

Hey guys Blazer fan here. Since none of our preseason games are televised here i didn't get a chance to watch the game. Just curious if any of the Blazers players stood out to you guys?? Woulda been nice to see some our young guys play.

BTW Randle looks like a steal to me when i watched you guys earlier this preseason and tonight seems no different.

The Blazers have gotten quite a bit deeper and better.

Kaman/Leonard
TRob
Wright
McCollum
Blake

McCollum and Leonard are surprisingly good.

Barton looked alright and Thomas Robinson looked decent apart from Lillard being awesome as usual. Otherwise did not see anyone stand out. Leonard appeared vocal in organizing the defense and stretched the floor a bit but he seems a bit late on most plays to gain significant minutes as of now.

Not sure who you guys really have off the bench that might help when Lillard/Aldridge rest.

Insurance and a good mentor for Randle to develop quicker.

McCollum and Crabbe for me. Both can score the ball.

McCollum has always looked good hes just stuck behind batum/matthews. if he got the minutes people would be surprised by what he can do.

Insurance would mean Boozer being the back up.

You also develop quicker by getting minutes not sitting on your ass.

Appreciate the response. I think at this point were gonna have to rely on CJ or Barton to contribute good minutes for us. As far as the front court I'm worried how they will fare with Lamarcus off the floor. Kaman when healthy will give us solid minutes with Rolo on the bench. TRob is good energy but he doesn't bring it consistent enough.

BTW we had ronnie price a couple years back in Portland. He's not gonna blow anybody away offensively but he competes hard and is a great guy. Perfect to have as your 3rd pg

I liked what I saw out of Lin, Davis, Randle, and Clarckson, just to name a few.
Great game.

Horrible 6 TOs by Lin, haven't recovered and is tired cuz of b2b? Or no Kobe so a bit more relaxed? Anyways, so glad he can go back to playing his game of setting people up, slashing and midrange after McDumbbell trying to force him into a gunner. Byron Scott seems to be pretty good with PGs as he has experience with guys like Magic, Kidd, CP3 and Irving. Him and Ed Davis are really something, PnR, alley-oop!

Davis
Randle
Johnson (if learn to do less)
Clarkson
Lin

6th man: Young

That's not a bad lineup!

Will Barton play in front of Wright or McCollum?

I think he's making a lot of those mistakes out of fatigue. He said that he's not back in game shape yet from all that time he lost due to injury, out of breath and winded. The 25minutes felt like a 60 minute game for him, according to the post game interview.

We saw something similar during Linsanity, when D'Antoni had him playing 40+ minutes from zero minutes. His turnovers would often come together in bunches over a short time span due to fatigue.

I hope he can play his body back into condition by the season opener.
