The first phase of this effort will be to lock any threads that have already been derailed and be a lot quicker to lock threads that look like they're heading that way. The exception to this is the Game Threads. Other, more proactive steps will be taken to ensure that the GT's stay lively and active.
Along those lines, if you do post the same repetitive idea over and over again, or you continually target the same member of the Lakers outside the normal flow of debate, or you allow your emotions to get the best of you and attack another poster personally, you are most assuredly going to be Warned. If you don't take the hint of the warning, you're going to be suspended, and if you continue to break these rules, you will be banned permanently.
This is especially true if you derail the Game Threads and you can expect the process to be much shorter.
So take heed, post wisely, and have fun.
