Price has never been a good player but he personifies a lot of the qualities that Scott likes in his players. Either way i'm glad that we're giving minutes to our younger players now to see if there's anything worth holding on too going forward.

I'd normally be happy with that except that our young players consist of 2 mid second rounders, the last pick of the 2012 draft (would probably have gone undrafted if it was any other team), a 27 year old who has played for 5 teams in 7 seasons and Jordan Hill who is speculated to be traded away. There just isn't very much upside outside of maybe Jordan Clarkson who is very raw.

I appreciate the fact that we have different opinions and points of view. I appreciate your fiery temperament and our straightshooting debate. However, we can surely do without your acronym-filled name-calling. Thank you.

You can't take the 'high road' right after spamming 80% of the threads on the board with you're derailing "tank" diatribe.
Like I said, it's not fooling anyone. Might be time for a break.

In honor of Wayne Ellington doing work to raise his value against the Wizards:

Glad to see Price out of the rotation. He never belonged in the first place as he has absolutely no future with this team

A lot of teams because A. He's going to come on the very cheap and B. His salary is nothing. Like, I'd settle for a top 59 protected 2nd in 2019 with a maturity date in 2024, which could turn into a trade sweetener of some sort. You can attach him to a trade for a young player buried in a deep rotation. You're not going to get a lot back, which is why he'll be easier to trade.

You have the point guard searchers, with Detroit and Charlotte. Neither team would have to give up nearly as much if they wanted to get Price over Norris Cole or Sessions. You have teams who need a backup pg. I haven't watched the Clips as much, but aren't they running with Austin Rivers as the backup 1 right now? If OKC trades Reggie, they could be in the hunt for someone who will give them more production than Ish Smith.

I'll admit though, his value is at an all time low. You're going to need him to string together some 6 point 8 assist games before anyone starts to think about giving up a 2nd for him.

Has there been anything reported on how Price feels about going from starter to 3rd string?

Price sort of led the team to beat Golden State warriors just couple of weeks ago. As soon as he got injured and showed some bad games, he got some DNP status. Talk about tough love from Scott, but maybe Scott is in a deep trouble that he is just treating his players that way.

He should be glad he's on an NBA roster.

For what its worth he can't be dealt to the sixth but he tweeted it and deleted it. Maybe he jumped the gun. I can't ink of any deal where he's not salary filler with Jackson and Perk.

Maybe we go Jackson, Perk, Ish for Lin, Houston first, and Sacre or Ed

We could likely absorb him with one of our exceptions

But why? It makes no sense to take him on and not let someone go. I mean short of us just releasing Booz to be classy and let hi sign with a playoff team

Could be but then again he makes $900k so using him in a trade to balance salaries makes no sense either.
