Someone out there is mighty pissed at not giving us a first round pick for Lin.

Not really. Who was going to give up a first round pick and then pay him 6 mil or so like Stephen A Smith pointed out before the deadline? The fact is his cap and actual pay aren't the same. He is getting paid 15mil and was set to get right over 6mil left in payments post break. No teams paying that for a non star who has never shown he can play good playoff ball

Kblo that contract is going to be the best in the nba, which is the best way you can use that cap space so stop saying that the team should throw away the pick for room

Lin probably pays for himself in merch and increased ratings/ticket sales

He so clearly wasn't. He pulled Ed when they had a run for an ice cold Hill who was missing shots and defensive assignments. That was all to tank   but then hill hit his jumper, got a putback, got a board, and sealed it 8-)

No he pulled Ed because they were doing a Hacka Ed

Quick predict the contracts we'll hand out to Wayne, Wes, Ed and Jeremy!

76ers are celebrating every win we get. Looks like this team will never get back to contention...

I'd like to keep Wayne around beyond this season.

Wellington sold to the Lakers for 3 years at 18 million dollars! Next up on the auction is a turbo-charged, 2014 Ed Davis. We'll start the bidding at 10 million!

We could send $3 mil in cash. So they'd essentially be paying $3 mil for a borderline starting PG for the playoffs.

No it won't. No rookie is nba ready. Hell none of them would last 60 games as it stands now because they are either frail or pudgy in the case of Okafor. They won't contribute past 10-15 backup minutes, let alone start.

And let me tell you something brother, hulk hogan voice turned on, anybody who spends their whole night watching a laker game and praying they lose, ain't a fan, and have no respect for the game of basketball or competition of you expect a player to willingly tank for you.

But alas I still rather have Monroe, Rondo, and a room exception than hoping towns who gets winded at 20 minutes while putting up 9 and 6, or turnover prone Muiday, or defensively soft Okafor, or health question stein ... I like Russell but not really that much unless if its at pick 4 or 5 with a lower cap hit.

The best way you can use that caps pace is getting actual talent who are good enough to attract a free agent. The best way to use the cap is to become mediocre. No one is wasting their damn time or prime who matters in 16/17 summer on Randle or any other rookie from a class who is weaker than last years, whom have been poor

Pretty dumb that Clarkson didn't play at all in the 4th. I don't mind wins here and there as long as he's getting proper crunch time development. Probably too much to ask though...
