Re McDaniels, I wonder if the Rox drafting Dekker frees up KJ for the taking? I thought for sure they'd match but now with a 1st spent on the SF position, LA should jump on it.

Russell Clarkson Blue
Kobe Clarkson Brown Brown
Caron Young Nance
Randle Black Kelly
Chandler McGee Upshaw Sacre

Scoring, D, vets, youth, athleticism, depth. That team could contend next year.

I really dont see Kobe starting at sf. Thinking Clarkson as the 6th man backing up sg and pg. Would like to see us try for Gerald Green or KJ MacDaniels for the wing spot and a vet pg like Jameer Nelson or Andre Miller for the room exception. Not Ronnie Price and Wesley Johnson, please.

Is Vander Blue really under Contract?

I believe Nance is an upgrade from Kelly so I'm hoping we loose him.

Kobe has broken down the past 3 years and now everyone has him moving to sf where he will give up 20-30 lbs a night? I think not. Clarkson will back up both guards and hopefully get 30 mins per.

Russell (28) Clarkson (20) Blue
Kobe (30) Clarkson (10) Jabari (8)
Caron (28) Young (20) Brown
Randle (30) Black (18) Nance Kelly
Hibbert (25) Upshaw (23) Sacre

Young guys develop.

ugh Kobe has been slotted to go down to SF for years now due to age to slow things down for him. Hence why he's spending more and more time there. IF anything keeping him at SG is worse for him.

Kobe is slow as **** as of today he is better suited to guard SFs, sadly.
Speed is all in modern basketball.
I think Price will come back, and Upshaw wont make the team, Kelly will stay, you have likely one spot left, I will try to bring a big SF, maybe Landry Fields

Hey guys quick question, was Clarkson really that good in the second half?

I didn't get to see many laker games in the second half of the season in the east coast. However, from the games I've seen, he was essentially just a guy that put up stats because there was no one else to on the team..

He's a rookie, but he also just turned 23 years old... In new York, everyone thought Jeremy Lin was going to become the best point guard in the league, but he didn't really improve as a player and put a ton of empty stats on a bad knicks team when both melo and stat got hurt, which clarkson I guess did, but to a much lesser extent.
