Ok updated list. I think Kelly and Young get moved in sign and trade deals with Hibbert and Lin.

PG- Jordan Clarkson - Lou Williams - Kendall Marshall

SG- D'Angelo Russell - Jabari Brown -

SF- Kobe Bryant - Omri Casspi - Anthony Brown

PF- Brandon Bass - Julius Randle - Tarik Black - Larry Nance

C- Roy Hibbert - Robert Upshaw - Robert Sacre

With this lineup i think Black plays some center also.

clarkson will probably start over russell
russell/kobe/clarkson will share the SG role

imo this is the starting 5, with russell and lou williams getting lots of PT.

I didn't get to see many laker games in the second half of the season in the east coast. However, from the games I've seen, he was essentially just a guy that put up stats because there was no one else to on the team..

He's a rookie, but he also just turned 23 years old... In new York, everyone thought Jeremy Lin was going to become the best point guard in the league, but he didn't really improve as a player and put a ton of empty stats on a bad knicks team when both melo and stat got hurt, which clarkson I guess did, but to a much lesser extent.

He kept making game winning plays when most of us wanted the lakers to lose games.

Btw with our new signings i guess our lineup should look like this:

PG - Russell/Williams/Price(?)
SG - Clarkson/J.Brown/Ellington(?)
SF - Kobe/A.Brown/Young(?)
PF - Randle/Bass/Nance
C - Hibbert/Black/Upshaw(?)/Sacre

If we sign a wing like McDaniels, A.Brown would be buried in the SF rotation. All that assuming Young and Kelly got traded

Honestly, I don't see how he plays over nick young, kobe bryant, russell, williams and even ellington next season. I'm not a fan of Lin and his game, however, the fact Scott started clarkson over lin made no sense, except for the tank...

I think another people need to remember is that teams really played off the lakers last season....

Hibbert - Black - Sacre
Randle - Bass - Kelly - Nance Jr.
Kobe - Young - A Brown
Clarkson - J Brown
Russell - Lou

I'd like to see a trade to move Kelly and Sucky P. If Kelly's value wasn't down in the dumps with Scott playing him at SF all season long, he could be the positive value some team might consider as collateral for taking on Sucky P.

I don't understand how people keep listing Williams as a backup PG. Hello! 15.5ppg and 2.1apg does NOT equate to a point guard! I mean, just because he's a short chucker doesn't take away from the fact that all he's been is a chucker.

We need a backup point guard. What can we get for Young/Kelly/Sacre besides a Jack's Munchy Meal?

Even if one of Russell, Clarkson, or Kobe got injured, Lou still wouldn't start.

Did you expect someone to want him or did you want the lakers to give up an asset to dump him? Both of those should've been a no, and even if he's on the roster it's not like Scott is particularly fond of him, so he'll likely just ride the bench again unless he rightfully earns pt.

Code: Shopped his butt all over and found no takers without having to give a young asset or 1st Rd pick (which they can't until the Phila and Orl obligations are met). So..

Mitch doesn't wanna make it seem like we are desperate to unload him so maybe a mid season trade we get something out of it. It's just smart business

We will probably get a veteran point guard. I'm happy that Ronnie Price isn't an option anymore. Maybe someone from Jameer, Andre Miller or even Luke Ridnour. We can also get Kendall Marshall back for the minimum?

In any case, I really think Russell will start alongside Clarkson and Kobe. When Russell or Clarkson sits, Williams will come in the game.

Kobe should not get more than 30 minutes a game. Better if its around 25 minutes max. Signing Anthony Brown for 3 years doesn't necessarily mean he stays in the rotation right away and maybe a long term project.

Excited to see tomorrow's game. Hopefully its aired where I am. Looking at the schedule, there's another summer league game going on. Anyone know which game NBA TV will be airing?

Kelly and Sacre for S.Blake...
Use a room exc to sign SF (Do.Wright??)

Hibbert/Black/Upshaw
Randle/Bass/Nance Jr
N.Young/D.Wright/A.Brown
Bryant/L.Williams/Jab.Brown
Clarkson/Russell/Blake

After 4 minutes of play Russell replace N.Young...

No, I didn't expect anyone to want him. Been saying that for months.

Hoping... now that's another thing altogether. Hoping... praying...
