So we're going to pursue Thibs now?... I agree with the article. I think this was leaked by his team to start a bidding war.

Thibs to the Lakers is not happening, not this coming season or after... next!

Clarkson, Randle and whoever Lakers draft will never see playing time if Lakers hired Thibs. Unless injuries of course, he doesnt like using young players

I wish the Lakers hired Steve Kerr seeing how the Dubs are playing. Steve Kerr will be the Zen Master 2.0

Just a thought, how about let Scott finish his tenure and have either Nash or Kobe take over as coach? We have seen some rookie coaches do really well (Kerr, Stevens), and Nash/Kobe are pretty smart basketball players

Nash I could see as a good coach but he may have other things better in his career moving forward. Kobe may want to be an owner of a team like Magic and Jordan. Besides, role players tend to make better coaches. Whats Slava Medvedko doing these days?

helps that the roster was already made for him....I highly doubt Kerr would have any more success than Scott with the roster we had. I'd take thibs as an asst. for D but Scott O kinda blows to, I'd prefer we find an asst. that can create better flowing offense. I never liked any of Scotts teams even the winning one with Nets or NOLA

So Marc Stein is reporting that the Bulls may hold off on firing Thibs until all the vacancies around the league are filled.

If he ends up sitting out the year, timing is a lot better next summer for the lakers coaching gig. This summer just doesn't match up well.

Thibs seems to have the Pat Riley thing going on without the rings.

that's a douche move, should prevent more FA and coaches from ever dealing with them in the future.

If you guys hated Mike Brown, you won't like Thibs.
