Ingram needs to take some notes from Kawhi.

Looks like the Spurs are going for 74 wins this season. Kawhi is great plus Simmons playing good. BTW Lillard played great in Portland's win 39 points and 9 boards plus 5 or 6 assist.

ugh the Spurs have little to no inside game. LMA and Pau both are mid range players. The reason GS is having trouble is because they are missing a bunch of open 3s they usually make and the fact that Jonathan Simmons is having the game of his life right now....
And I said inside game where?
This is what happens when you rely on 40% (by 3 players) shots. Some nights you make them some you don't. If you don't have some size to offset those rough spots you will be a streaky team.

Game 1 and Rose is already blaming triangle
Rose noted after the game that he's still getting acclimated to the Knicks' offense. In particular, he's still getting used to the portions of the offense that employ the triangle, Phil Jackson's signature approach.
"Towards the end, when you saw us running it, it was just us trying to get used to it so it's not that foreign," Rose said.

Re: Around the NBA VII
on night 1 i think Lillard was king, but Joe Johnson was like 12-16 while Gobert looked like he might be the center that makes centers vogue again. Utah looks better than they have since Stockton/Malone/Horna-triangle

Good point on Ingram. I'd rather see him turn Kawhi-esque than Durant.

Of all the guys emulating Kobe, I think he has the most silent assassin in him.

Re: Around the NBA VII
I saw someone post in the GB that Kawhi worked out with Kobe this summer. Not sure how true that is, but Kawhi's mid range looked money the whole game. I'm on the Kawhi for MVP bandwagon lol.

Might be a little premature, but OKC looks like dumpster juice.

Re: Around the NBA VII
I wonder if Tony Parker will have to become a three point sniper to extend his career. At full health, the Spurs best lineup is looking like Simmons, Ginobili, Green, Kawhi and Dedmon (over Aldridge due to ability to keep up with guards on perimeter and rim protection). That lineup would be able to switch everything against GSW death lineup on defense.

Lol look at dem glasses, and what is with that hat? Damn...
Randle would have looked decent if he had put a shirt on.
Or maybe I just don't understand fashion.
